"I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel La Palapa! The accommodations were clean and comfortable and safe. The staff at the hotel and restaurant were all amazing — so warm, friendly, and helpful! The proximity to the beach was incredible, as well as having so many shops within close walking distance (including grocery stores, drug stores, souvenir shops, and lots of great restaurants). The area was all very clean, and I always felt safe, even as a solo female traveler. will definitely stay here again!!"

"Excellent stay if you’re looking for a place in Tamarindo!!! The grounds stunning, well maintained, and beachfront with the most beautiful sunset views!!! Lovely staff!! In walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and surf lessons. Easy to rent a car & explore other areas. Rooms aren’t exceptionally lavish but comfy and clean. Balcony views were breathtaking!!! "Well maintained and the property itself is quiet. The on site restaurant was nice and they make great breakfast and nachos. The a/c was quiet and efficient. Great location for beach access and every restaurant you can imagine. Farmers market nearby 2 days a week. Bring ear plugs for potential howler monkeys and the bar nearby that plays music until 2am. "
