We really enjoyed our time in Tamarindo. Wyndham is a great hotel. The food was excellent. The rooms themselves are pretty basic but was nice to have the balcony that looked out over the pool and ocean view. The pool is amazing. I loved watching the sunset from there. Great experience and I would definitely recommend.

I liked the feel of being in the pool, even through the pool is a little beat up. The room didn’t feel that clean, and needed a new paint job. A better shuttle plan should be implemented. Then I remembered it was a 3 star hotel and realigned my expectations.

Great property with excellent views, nice clean rooms. A bit of walk ~20 min to dining option, better to drive in Tamarindo heat! Towels in rooms REALLY need upgrading though, the rest was a great experience!

My credit card was charged for hundreds of dollars more than what Expedia advertised, internet was very slow and unable to conduct business and maintain a phone call! Breakfast was eh and coffee was not good considering Costa Rica is known for some of the best coffee in the world. They did not bring us new towels daily…had to be requested. Your getting the bare minimum at not such a minimum price!
