"I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed my stay here. My room was much larger than expected and very clean.
The staff at the front desk was very friendly and as a solo traveler, this made me feel safe. My room was right outside the pool and I loved having the flexibility to sit at the pool or the beach which is only a few steps away! I appreciated that the staff happily carried a beach chair for me to sit directly on the beach as opposed to the shady private area for hotel guests.
I loved waking up every morning to complimentary breakfast delivered to my door. I do wish there were more options on the menu but was very appreciative that this was provided.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a budget friendly place to stay!"
"Simply wonderful boutique hotel walkable to Tamarindo.
From the moment we arrived we knew we had made a good choice. We had a lovely time in a beautiful location and everything, and everyone met or exceeded expectations.
We will definitely return!"
"The whole place was spotless and staff were wonderful. Usually we stay close to the water but in tamarindo that means being in the noisier part of town. So we opted for this place and used their shuttle to go back and forth. Loved the tranquility, the views of the ocean and the visit from the group of monkeys right at eye level off the back deck. We will definitely be back! "
"Well maintained rooms and common areas. All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and were great for recommending and organizing tours. We had the added bonus of staying on a Thursday where the social night is held. Maggie organised drinks and appetizers for the guests to share and meet before heading to the night market. This place will be my go to choice the next time we visit Tamarindo."
"We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Tamarindo Diria! Great location on the beach and walkable to everything. Nice amenities and friendly staff. Good restaurants and amazing breakfast Buffett daily with beautiful views. A great way to start every morning. Be sure to check out the large pool across the street, we almost missed it (our fault, not hotel). Feel like the hotel should provide lounge chairs on the beach (they provide them in grassy area) and shouldn’t be another $30 or so daily paid to third party. But, overall very happy with hotel and recommend. "
"Why a beautiful little hotel. Tucked away from the hustle but close enough to walk into the main drag. Lovely king room. Staff super lovey and would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. We would definitely come back! "
"Rolando is an absolute gem! If I could give him higher than a 10/10 rating I would! The whole hotel is a hidden treasure. White sand beach, hammocks, firm comfortable bed, hot water and great water pressure. Patio was glorious for morning coffee or take it to one of the beach loungers. You can watch the waves roll in from your bed.
The value is in the location (walk to anything- 10963867ish restaurants, shops, markets etc) CUSTOMER SERVICE ❤️ and Costa Rican authenticity- if you want marble countertops and Gold Coast finishes this place is not for you. However, if you like kind people, a great beach and comfy bed- this is luxury
It is enjoyed by those that truly value pura vida living. EVERYONE we met were repeat customers, from 2-10 years returning. Yes, it’s that good. BOOK NOW!! ❤️ "
