Cala Luna Boutique Hotel & Villas

"We had an overall great stay at Cala Luna. Our villa was spacious and comfortable, the private pool was a huge hit with the kids, and the property was peaceful, beautiful, and very well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was excellent. The location is quiet and relaxing, but getting into downtown Tamarindo can be a little inconvenient. Complimentary transportation into town, or discounted golf-cart rentals for shorter periods than 24 hours, would be a great improvement. The complimentary bikes were useful, but they felt a little outdated and could use an upgrade. Even with those minor suggestions, we had a wonderful experience and would gladly stay at Cala Luna again."

"Perfect spot on the quiet end of the beach. The rooms are simple but beautiful. We had an ocean view on the second floor, room 204. The large patio was a perfect spot to have breakfast and spend time listening to the waves. We booked last minute due to a nasty abnb and we couldn’t have gotten more lucky. Pool was great and everyone at the resort was very friendly. 10/10 would stay again as soon as possible."

"Incredible property steps from the beach. They were super helpful and kind. We had our 18 month old with us and everyone was wonderful and sweet to him. The view is amazing. Great beach chairs right outside the room that are included in the price. The location on the main road in town is excellent too. Couldn't be any better!!!! We will be coming back."
