"Place was great for a traditional Japanese experience. Some instructions in English for when to wear the shoes and robes, and how to put the beds together would be helpful."

"The Global view is a great luxury hotel. The room we had was very luxeriuos and was divided into two different parts: living & sleeping. It was clean and perfect. The hotel sports a caffe which provides excellent cappuccino and very good cakes and pastry. From the two high quality restaurants we chose to have dinner at the Japanese restaurant. The sushi chef & the kitchen provided us with high quality sashimi and sushi and hot dishes. The staff at the resumption desk was very friendly and welcoming. The parking garage provides convenient parking space. The Electric Tramway stops literally at the side entrance and provides transportation to most touristic sites. The Ropeway is in only a 20 minutes walking distance. "
"I was worried about this hotel being a โlove hotelโ, due to its strange name, and about the distance from the Bagasaki train station. I neednโt have worried. This hotel is a very nice business-type hotel, and as others have noted before me, the hotel breakfast was excellent, with many Nagasaki specialties to try. The room was very clean and actually spacious by Japanese standards, and we had an actual bathtub in the bathroom, and a walk-in shower. The hotel is on the number 1 tram line, which you can board right outside Nagasaki station using a Suica card. The hotel is just inside the entrance of a covered shopping street, which had many great shops including Marimekko and Second Street. There is a local shop selling Nagasaki pork buns on the corner. The room was very clean and the cleaners respected my do not disturb sign. "
