"It is beautiful place but it too remote place from Takayama town"

"Wonderful first time stay in an authentic ryokan. Exceeded expectations. Decor is lovely. Food is delicious and served by attentive staff. Had a room with private inside and outside baths. Had never heard of a kotatso and it was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. Highly recommend."

"We lived our stay at this very authentic ryokan like hotel. The staff were generous and kind, we were able to book the private onsen for a very reasonable price to accommodate our tattoos and our family going together. The half board was delicious. This is not a luxury stay so much as a real Japanese cultural experience and we had a great time as a family of four USA folk with teens."

"We had a wonderful experience here, the staff, the food and the hotel were all wonderful. Would love to come back one day. "

"Good food and very comfy room"

"Convenient location, clean, nice Onsen, "

"A wonderful place! Exactly the atmosphere we were looking for."

"Beautiful surroundings. Relaxing environment. Staff is beyond courteous and attentive. Food is excellent and abundant. Hot springs are scenic and reinvigorating. "

"Great for visitors planning to go to kamikochi."

"I think this place is above average."

"台風の被害があり、温泉を引き込めないため、天然水を沸かしたお風呂に入りました。これはこれで、良かったです。 部屋は禁煙の部屋でしたが、タバコの臭いが残っており、タバコの臭いが辛い方には、難しいと思います。 朝食は素晴らしかったです。安曇野の新鮮な野菜や牛乳、乳製品、特にわさびのお茶漬けは、とても美味しかったです。"
