"Check in process was friendly and seamless (thank you Jessie for the room upgrade for a better view of city)! Lobby was indeed grand (live piano music was a beautiful addition). Hotel shuttle to and from Yuanshan train station was very convenient. Room was nice - however recommend stocking room with more clothes hangars, plates, silverware. Standard pillows were uncomfortable - good thing I saw the pillow menu (charcoal pillow was much better). Recommend separate shampoo and conditioner (not combined). Underground tour was not that enjoyable because tour guide spoke in Mandarin - recommend offering 2 tours (Mandarin and English). Swimming pool and gym required taking a shuttle so we didnt get to see that part of the hotel unfortunately. Overall all hotel were friendly and welcoming (except the mean lady working as barista in afternoon of July 29, 2025). Hope to stay at Grand Hotel next time we are in Taipei!"

"First, very clean room, comfortable bed, sound proof, and staff are polite and friendly. Location is great, a minute walk from station. Easy access to Avery where! We are coffee lovers and Very good coffee shop nearby is a plus! "

"Hotel just renovated not long ago, everything maintained well, good location, near to shopping area, staff are nice, help to arrange taxi, it was raining during my stay, they escorted me with umbrella "

"Exit 6 of the Da'an Station is literally in front of the hotel. Taipei 101, CKS Memorial and Taipei Main Station are a few stops away. Many restaurants nearby and there are two SOGO department stores about 10 minutes by foot. I stayed in a 101 view room. To be honest, it's not worth it to pay extra for the 101 view. I enjoyed my stay."
