Easy walk from Taipei Main Station where one can take MRT around and airport and start point of hop-on hop off bus.Located on 6th floor right beside a 24-hr McDonalds. My window view was of a tall building next door - bummer! They also have baggage storage so we could go around before checkin and after checkout.

Great stay!
It was a great stay. I have stayed here once before, and the room was comfortable. However, the shower leaks onto the wooden floor. Also the room I was staying in had no windows, but I did not feel closed in. The front desk attendants were nice and accomodating. Overall, great stay.

Conveniently located near Taipei Main Station (Z4 Exit), right above McDonald’s. Great: Very friendly & helpful staff, clean room Flaw: the room is small, & didn’t like the open toilet/bathroom area.

Great location
Smile Inn is in a top spot, a short walk to the main taipei station gives you quick and easy access to the whole city. Z4 is the best exit, but M6 is almost as good and has better signage. The McDonalds on the ground floor makes the hotel is easy to find. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area, and just down the road from camera street.

Great services, counter representatives still great service and responsible with always smile greeting, met friendly representative Peggy again and I am recognized as 3rd time returned to this Inn. Reasonable price and great location to Taipei main station! Only thing about this Inn are half of their rooms area not big enough, mostly good for single traveler not need big spaces

原先以为酒店房间是马桶和淋浴室分开，就如网络上的照片，可是入住的房间却是马桶和淋浴室链接在一起的，有点小失望 优点： 台北地下街Z4出口，走路3分钟就到了 对面是新光三越 楼下有麦当劳 走路10分钟到达西门町 交通方便 免费寄存行李和称重量 缺点： 网络速度慢 灯光不够明亮，有点阴森的感觉

The room was clean and stocked with amenities such as toothbrush hair comb tea and such. The location is very convenient to Taipei Main Station and there are many places to eat and shop in easy walking distance.

Soundproof needs serious improvement. Was woke up by hearing people crying along the corridor and another occasion, woke up by people probably getting ready to leave that is at 3:30am!! Cleanliness of room is ok, room small, but is ok. Tv channels, a lot of English movies to watch. Location,cannot complain, it is just across the Taipei main station.most people recommend to exit from Z4 exit, but it is a long flight of stairs. Instead should exit from M5, cross the road and you can see the hotel. It is located above McDonald.

Great Locayion
This is my 2nd time staying in this hotel and are pleaded with the service and cleanliness. The staff are helpful and they provide bottled water, tea bags and coffee. The location is very neat to Taipei main station with many choices for food and shopping and travelling to other parts o f Taiwan is also very convenient.

Near to Taipei main station
The room is very small and if you travel with young children is not recommended as the shower room is a cubicle and difficult to change your attire. The hotel resides in a commercial building, mix with enrichment center, lawyer firm etc. Food wise easy to get as MCDonald is on the ground floor.

it is in an amazing location. Though the building looks a bit old, but the innerside is so nice! Hostel provides a water machine so i even no need to boil water

Nice location. Very close to MRT (2 mins walk) and Taipei main station (5 mins walk). Room is very clean but a bit small. However, will come back to stay here again.

Good for a short trip
Although the room is small, it's clean and comfortable. It's near the Taipei train station with walking distance, also it's surrounding with a lot of food shops and MacDonald is just downstairs, staff were helpful as well. It's good for a short trip to stay in such price.

Convenient Stay
Room is small but convenient. Hotel is near to Taipei Main Station and bus station. Lobby has a weighing scale for you to check your luggage before you leave for the airport.

A very good hotel in a very convenient location!
The hotel was located just across the road from Taipei main train station and next to ShinKong Mitsukoshi. It is located in a building with a 24hr McDonald's on the first floor. Although the lift lobby area on the first floor looks rather dubious, once you arrive at the 6th floor, the hotel comes across as modern and clean. The rooms though small are very modern and extremely clean. The toilet was spotless and the beds very comfortable. And there were free snacks available both in the room and near the reception counter!

Friendly staff and convenient location
It was a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly, and it was close to the Taipei main station which can get us to most of the nearby attractions. Having a 24hr McDonald's on the ground floor certainly will help soothe any late night hunger pangs that you may have. Cons: the free Wi-Fi was terrible and we couldn't get internet access most of the time.

Stayed in Deluxe Double Room. Very good location, a 3mins walk to Taipei Main Station. Room is small but tolerable for 2 people. Has fancy switches to lights, and has a master switch by the bed so you dont have to get up to switch on the lights.

Smell but nice room. Facilities are all quite new. Soundproof is not so good, you'll hear the next door in and out. Wood floor in the room, the rolling bed move a lot, didn't like it. Pillows too hard, not so comfortable. Hotel in the great location. You got everything in the neighborhood.

"Typhoon" time in Taipei
We happened to be there while the Typhoon Soudelor struck on 8 Aug. Fortunately, there is a MacDonald's in the same building as the hotel so that we could still had lunch that day. Hotel provides free coffee/tea and snacks with hot/cold water dispenser in the lobby. Good location as it is very close to Taipei Main Station.
