It's the first time I went to Taiwan. They have a group of friendly staff that is readily available to assist visitors at their level 4 receptionist area 24/7. The room, bed, toilet and shower area is very clean. Towel and clearing of rubbish is upon request and they will do it within the next 30mins for you in my experience during my stay of 8 days. The location is very good, it's above the Exit (Zone 8) of the Taipei Main Station, very convenient to travel around. Roaders Plus Hotel had given me a very positive experience in my Visit, will definitely recommend to family and friends. Thanks!

Great hotel

I highly recommend Raiders Plus hotel! The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and spacious, location is great and many small pluses like water bottles, free food and snacks. Really enjoyed our stay there.

Excellent hotel

Relatively new hotel in an excellent location with only a five minute walk to the Taipei main station. The perks of free snacks and water bottles in the lobby at any time was great. Also happy hour from 2 to 4 PM with extra free snacks was great but we only used it once. Room was nice and clean, though was cramped for a family of four and no hooks for hand towels or closet for clothes. Bed was a little hard. Bathroom was really nice with a bidet and plenty of counterspace. Hotel staff were great. Would definitely stay here again

Check in smoothly and staff was friendly. Easy to access to Taipei Main Station by underpass, but no elevator,need to climb by steps. Room wise ,is clean only the bath room a bit stuck due to drain problems,so need to do some cleaning.

For some strange reason there wasnt any housekeeping during our stay. We had to call front desk to change our towels and clear the rubbish although we had the housekeeping light turned on in our absence. Nonetheless, i will return again if i go to taipei as the property was so accessible, rooms and facilites was good.

Good family-friendly hotel with playground and ballpit that the kids loved. Free snacks (chips and biscuits) and drinks (bottled water, coffee, tea). But that's about it as far as the "family-friendly" part goes, there are no children amenities in the room (such as slippers or bathrope or shower kit or token souvenirs or bed rails) in the room unlike some family-friendly hotels we have stayed in. The hotel is located in a tall building, with only two lifts serving floors from 14-38, of which half of them belong to a co-working space. Expect very long wait times for the lifts, and during one of the days where we stayed in, both were closed at the same time for maintenance and we had to wait for the employee lift which took even longer. Convenient location, very short walk to the Taipei Main Station or the airport metro. Lots of food options around.

There are surprises in good and bad ways. Instead to have a fancy lobby, this hotel has the lobby at 4th floor. The lobby is a carnival themed with a snack area, Ball pool and a playground for kids. During happy hours, there are free snacks with fried chicken wings and fish balls. Chips and bottled water are free 24/7. It’s very convenient for travelers. The bad side is the room size, it’s extremely small. However, the room has spectacular views.

Hotel is near Taipei main station. Also can get a taxi easily outside the hotel. Lobby is at level 4. There is a small indoor playground and a ballpit room at lobby which is perfect for younger kids. They also provide free flow snacks which was great. Hotel only provide room cleaning service every 3 days, but if you need any rubbish disposal or other services, can approach front desk. No breakfast provided but there are many eateries/ family mart/ 7 eleven nearby which is pretty convenient. Hotel room is clean. Family deluxe room is big and spacious. However, it does not have a wardrobe and sufficient hangers. Nonetheless, overall a great hotel!

I left the hotel and did not stay the night. I would have asked for a refund but I know that in these cases they are never given. The room smelt of the toilet, I could hear through the walls and I was on the 32nd floor despite asking to be on a lower floor.

Rude and unprofessional staff

I had a very very very bad experience during my stay in this hotel. As a frequent traveler, I have visited 50+ cities. This hotel staff is the worst and rudest I have ever met! One of the receptionist Mr.Ray Hsieh shouted and yelled at me because I couldnt hear his colleague clearly. I asked for apologies and he refused and even humiliateed me. I am a Cantonese speaker and also do speak English and Mandarin. Mr. Ray Hsieh is a local Taiwanese who speaks Mandarin. During the conversation, I used Mandarin to communicate. When he got mad, he asked me to speak English to him?!?! I think he mistakenly thought that I don't know English and thought that he is superior because he speaks basic English?! Anyway, it was definitely a bad experience. They have kids-friendly facilities but zero kids and family friendly staff. They are really rude and uneducated.

Limited schedules and ridiculous cleaning policy

The good of it was that there were playrooms. But these are only available during limited hours, such as 10.30am and later. Are my kids the only weird ones getting up around 6am? It didn't make sense why they couldn't open it earlier. The other super negative thing is their cleaning policy. Apparently during covid, they started only cleaning upon request. This must have been profitable, as they now require you to fill in a card each morning to tell them you would like to have your room cleaned. Each morning. One morning we went down and asked, and they were apologized, saying the cleaning staff were fully booked. Say what??? We are paying hotel prices for a shoebox, and won't get room cleaning? Also, we had requested this at 6.30am so it didn't make sense that the schedule was full. After getting visibly and loudly upset, they agreed to clean our rooms each day. But this left a very bad taste in our mouths. Finally, the rooms are TINY. They do not usually come with a bathtub. They also smell vaguely like mildew. And you cannot cancel your remaining nights. Despite that, we suffered the loss and went to another, better hotel.
