Great stay at S Hotel-Taipei.
Had a great stay. Would love to stay at this hotel again. Nice staff, spacious & clean room. Breakfast was very good too. I am particularly grateful to the kind staff.

Very nice design, neighborhood is quiet and classy. The rooms have some quirky things given the focus on design asthetics --- light switches, shower door are different than usual hotels. Ceilings are a bit low, but the white color pallette and lots of mirrors help create a sense of openness. Hotel lacks a gym. But the lobby area is expansive and cozy with lots of tables and seating.

A very pleasant stay!
Nice, modern and clean. Location is convenient and based on what I paid, it was good value for money. Overall a very pleasant stay.Only complaint is that the temperature control in the room didn't work and the pool table in the restaurant was covered up at night for no reason. Limited choice of food at the restaurant.

Room cleaning service should be improved. On the first day, we found that the dishes haven’t changed from the previous guests. Tables aren’t swiped. Other than that, it was good place. We satisfied with breakfast, dining, and stylish decor.

Exceptional value for the money
Excellent location, easily accessible to all the tourist spots. Very comfortable, clean and spacious room. The bathrobes are so soft and comfortable. The toiletories and complimentary breakfast are exceptional and beat most of the 5 star hotels that we have stayed in. The staff were very friendly and always ready to offer their help. We will definitely book S Hotel again and recommed to our friends!

The “Aurora Mirror Effect” in the room is very special. Its fun to see infinity selves in the not-alone high-tech toilet! Bathroom and sink area is elegant and well divided from the room with drape. Sofa and coffee table at corner of the room under the natural light is well placed. Restaurant at basement is spacious and elegant.

Beautiful Hotel - with Horrible Service & Software
The first experience at time of check-in was terrible. You have one junior girl posted in the Reception Area; while there were more than 3-4 trainees standing by the side (probably receiving training at the corner of the Reception area. We have booked 5 rooms for 9 persons - there was no help being offered, and the junior girl in the Reception Area was very confusing, taking us to waste a lot of time to check in and to obtain our Room Card. Towels are very old in the rooms making a total uncomfortable feelings. Lightings are not easy to handle especially unable to turn off all the lighting by leaving one of the toilet light up - practically it was not workable despite of the fact I travel all the time for business and pleasure staying in many cities all these years. Horrible breakfast, terrible service. Your waiters would not even offer any free coffee, eg Latte... or anything on the menu, We didn't see any menu card on the table on Sat & Sun, and it was not shown until Mon and Tue mornings. Practically no service or support from the waiters at all. We have then decided to go next door in the Mandarin Oriental for coffee, croissance... Please don't bother to give the pineapple cake in the room, as its the worst pinapple cakes we ever have. Room Deco is okay, your hardware are fine, while tremendous improvement must be made on your software and others.

Going the extra mile
It was our anniversary trip and the whole experience was awesome. We were warmly greeted at the front desk and the team gave my Wife and I a pleasant surprise by offering a nice cake and greeting on the tv affer we went up to our room. The room is very spacious and tastefully design. The breakfast spread is very delicious too.

My ONLY stay in Taipei.
Always a joy to stay in S HOTEL. Service is awesome. Especially feel like home when I step in the front door and they greet me calling my name. The only thing that sadden me a bit is they changed the layout for all the 09 Rooms since the mirror face straight to the bed and the Chinese tourists don't like it. It lost that 'hippy' feeling.

Had an amazing 5 night stay. From branding (大S), design (Stark), food (S restaurant and bar), service (Webb), to the small touches (肉干 & 凤梨酥 by the bed) and the heavenly warm toilet seat, you had me at "Welcome to Our Home". Only suggestion is the shower cubicle need to be better ventilated to rid of the dampness.

Stayed 6/9 to 8/9....Just went to Taipei for a weekend, everything is good with sincere staffs...The hotel is surrounded by banks, not much to see around, but only 10mins walk from the tube, so very convenient. the room is good, and in very nice designs...however, not the whole floor is carpeted, so will be a bit cold if it is in the winter..
