Cozy, and mostly clean. Some mildew in the shower, but other than that, its close to ski areas, and right in Tahoe City. Communication from owners is excellent. I would rent again.
Cute cottage, very clean and well kept. Sweet neighborhood, all the neighbors and their dogs were very nice. Perfect for 2-3 people. 3 blocks from the main drag so you can walk everywhere. Very dog friendly, there's a basket of toys for your fav pooch. We cook and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was a great stay. We'll be back.
Best part of cabin is its location within walking distance of main street shops and Commons Beach. Property management was responsive to needs.
The property could use some sprucing up. New front door mat, torn chair arm cover removed or replaced, new bath
mats, faded sheets and new battery for flash lightreplaced.areraggedup.
There were 3 of us and it was just right, could have handled a 4th person, just what we were looking for. For a few different reasons, I liked that it was right in Tahoe City. Wasn't the Hilton but that wasn't what we were looking for. We'll be back.
Our small familynof three plus a old Golden retriever had a great time staying for a week. The house has everthing thing we needed and was big enough for us. The location is great to be able to walk to the grocery store, lake and restaurants. It snowed alot while we were there but they kept up with snow removal Ndbwe we're able to park without a problem. Will be booking again and will recommend to anyone looking for a nice small home to stall in while in tahoe city.
Small, but enough for us. We wanted something close to Palisades and Alpine with the ability to walk to dinner. It is nothing fancy, but we really just needed a place to sleep and dry out our ski gear. We wished that it had a washer/dryer and a boot dryer. It was pretty expensive for what it is.
Classic little Tahoe getaway. Close enough to Tahoe City to wander around the small town. Also a great staging point for skiing at Palisades.
Only two downside were the beds in one of the rooms were EXTREMELY lumpy and made for a tough night's sleep. Also, the backdoor would remain closed by itself (possibly because the snow) so we had to move the dresser in front of it.

The Green Grove Cabin was in a great location within walking distance to the lake and downtown. Tahoe Moon Management Co gave great directions and instructions how to get in the cabin. They were polite and accomodating to work with. One suggestion I would like to make would be to get new mattresses for the beds. Did not get a great nights sleep because of older uncomfortable mattresses on the beds. Otherwise all was fine and would stay again.
The home advertising was very deceiving and the home was false advertising. The kitchen chair covers were all stained plus the table top. The carpet was spotted from animal waste. The furniture appeared to be from the 1950’s. It was not close to the beach as represented. We did not stay but immediately left. We
Were refused a refund after an immediate phone call. The property may have been broom swept but that’s all. Place not represented by pictures as it was dirty.
This little house is comfortable, clean and well located near to Tahoe City. I would stay here again and would recommend this place to others. Pictures are accurate.
The only negatives about this place are the somewhat misleading nightly price and a somewhat draconian rental agreement that is wildly one-sided favoring the owner. The nightly price listed was less than half the total nightly price once all the fees and taxes were added in! My three night stay cost more than twice the daily rate for three days. This doesn't change my overall opinion of this house; just a warning to others to review the FULL price before renting.
Overall, the rental process, check-in and check-out were simple and straightforward. And, the house was well equipped including needed kitchen utensils. Also, it would be helpful for the Host to provide more than one tiny bath towel per person for the entire stay.
I booked a rather cheap property, and would easily have overlooked the fact that the bed and furniture were not very comfortable since the price was good. But after all the additional charges the price DOUBLED. Not worth that price.

Small cabin won’t stay a second time.
Cabin okay but dated, except for tv and wi-if. Air flow within cabin very sub-par. Always stuffy. Small bathroom had little gnats constantly! They congregated in the bathroom, the last place you want little bugs getting into your stuff. No comfortable outdoor space at all, no landscaping. Dog poop all over front yard. Master” bedroom had no curtains, making it difficult to sleep. Kitchen table was partially broken. House was NOT as clean as it should have been - the bathroom mirror was not cleaned at all, floors dismal, surfaces dusty. Refrigerator handle was grimy. Seemed like the minimalist effort there could be was put in. Thought it had a washer/dryer, but it didn’t. Best part was the location - walking distance to stores and beach.
The house had everything we needed, as well as additional helpful touches like games, DVDs, and a camp chair. We were just a few blocks from the lake and there were restaurants, a grocery store, shopping, and a dog park within easy walking distance. Thanks for the great trip!

2 day getaway
Cute clean well stocked cottage close to downtown tahoe city. Walked to beach and restaurants. Had a problem locking the house keypad when we left the house and called emergency number for directions but no return call from agent after talking to answering service who said someone would call us. We finally figured it out but never received a call until morning. Fortunately no true emergency and agent apologized next day.
