Unfortunately the description Hotels.com. used was inaccurate and we would not have booked the property. There is NO - on site parking as stated. On arrival the property is located at the end of a terrace of 5 houses down an uneven path and through 2 gates. "The barn is beautiful and has been a pleasure to stay at. The layout works well, from the large open living space upstairs to the two bedrooms downstairs. There is plenty of storage space although for the second bedroom, this is in the hall area. My husband had the muscles and was left with enough room to finish my large serving. A walk through the lovely gardens ended our evening perfectly. The road up is narrow and not for the faint of heart."

"The room was spotlessly clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. They also served us freshly cooked breakfast in the morning, which was lovely. The bathroom was large, clean and modern, but the room itself was very small for 2 people. On Sunday night, we planned to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. However, the hotel management decided to close the restaurant without any prior notification. The reception was also closed, which was very odd and we had to go back out into town to get some dinner."
