"I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived until checkout, every aspect of my experience exceeded expectations. The kitchenette in my room was a fantastic feature – well-equipped, clean, and incredibly convenient. It's rare to find such a thoughtfully designed space that actually makes you feel at home rather than just passing through. The location is absolutely perfect, with easy access to everything I needed during my visit - note there is a pharmacy, hotels and the Muskoka Discover Centre around the corner. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the extraordinary staff. When I checked in, I was exhausted from traveling and half-jokingly mentioned to the woman at the front desk that I desperately needed chocolate cake. I honestly didn't expect anything to come of it – after all, the hotel doesn't serve chocolate cake. But to my absolute amazement, she took my request seriously and promised to find some for me. I thanked her politely but privately wondered how on earth she was going to make that happen. Well, she did. The dedication and genuine care this staff member showed went so far above and beyond normal hospitality that I'm still impressed. It's this kind of personal attention and willingness to go the extra mile that transforms a good hotel stay into an unforgettable one."

"The listing suggested this was a cottage-style rental, but unfortunately it fell short in several areas. There is no water access or view, which was a key expectation. The outdoor fire pit is located in the front yard facing the road, next to a neighboring property that appears to be in poor condition, which took away from the experience.We were also looking forward to the indoor fireplace, but it is not functional. The sauna is an indoor kit that doesn’t seem well-suited for the space, and the hot tub was difficult to use and preset at a temperature that wasn’t very warm.Inside, the home felt quite cluttered, with many personal items and trinkets limiting space for our belongings. Storage was an issue, as closets, drawers, and cupboards were already full. There were also toys in smaller rooms, making it harder to comfortably use the space.Cleanliness could be improved, as there was noticeable dust, and the seating areas were not particularly comfortable for relaxing together as a family.We were really looking forward to this trip, especially since my daughter traveled from Thunder Bay and we came from a distance to spend March Break together. While we made the best of our time, the overall experience was disappointing."

"My sister found the listing, then I glanced at the pictures while reading too quickly, so I decided it was a well designed townhouse (like we all live in). So when I got there and found that it was a detached home, I was delighted. Things only got better from there. We used 3 of the 4 bedrooms, and all were comfy. The layout was exceptional, with all bedrooms upstairs and the first floor essentially all one room (great for gathering, games, and gabbing). Everything worked: there were no hiccups.If ever I need to stay within 100 miles of Gravenhurst again, I hope this will be available again."

"A beautiful cottage rustic and peaceful place with stunning views...only one thing to change on listing the TV and Internet we couldn't get tv working and the Internet we were told not to download toj much data so maybe look into changing that for future guests we didn't mind because we don't watch rv much but if it is in the listing other guests might expect to watch it with the Internet ....we were afraid to go over the limit and we didn't mind with our stay .....this is just a suggestion for the fut"
