The rooms of the property have been renovated keeping the flair of a heritage building. It is clean, comfy, close to transport or walking distance to entertainment. Pub food was good and staff very helpful

Right next to St Peters Station and close to CBD. Friendly staff, options for room delivery using app! Great location for food, cafes, vintage shops. Rooms clean and bed so comfy. Flat screen tv with Netflix, no need for an account. Desk for working. Bathrooms down the hall were still vintage! Clean and nice rain showers. The only issue was other people slamming the heavy bedroom doors. Maybe a sign to remind people to close softly might help. I stayed here 6 nights. Highly recommended but note no air-conditioning.

Great position. Right across from the station and around the corner for the buses. King street is the most fantastic place to stay. Amazing restaurants, bars, cafes and shopping. Looking forward to staying the again.

The room was amazing and couldn't hear anything through the walls which was perfect. Was super comfortable and the staff were really nice. No smoking which was great. Will be staying here again.

Wonderful staff, clean room but super noisy through the night with people slamming hall bathroom doors!! Kept us awake a bit. Other than that it was a great room.

Very enjoyable stay. Only downside was the shared bathroom that I had overlooked when booking and didn’t realize until after arrival. It didn’t cause too much inconvenience though

It was in a convenient location, easy to get to the airport. The size of the room was good, towels provided and showering products too (shampoo etc). There were a couple of complimentary snacks which was nice and a bottle of water. The member of staff that showed me to my room was pleasant. They did have eco friendly toilet roll and had hand soap and other products that were made locally which was nice. The place was clean and tidy. There were plenty of pillows and ear plugs provided as the rooms are above the bar and train station beside.

This is a great option for a short stay. Availability of shared bathroom facilities in often an issue in hotels like this and was this time, having to wait quite some time for a bathroom to become free.

Beautifully kept classic old pub, well loved and well looked after. Spotlessly clean, great friendly service and wholesome pub food. Our room was modern and tidy. The common area/kitchen and bathroom were so clean! Loved the cheeky bar tender he was good value.

The staff were amazing and really friendly. My parents stayed here as i live close by. Great for family visiting if you want them to be close enough. Room was nice.
