My flight from Sydney to Perth got canceled and I was able to book this the day of. Arguably better, and cheaper, than your typical hotel. I was lucky to find this little gem.

On arrival there were people smoking out the front which was very annoying and smelly. Maybe the smoking area could be else were away from main Entrance.

We had room 2, it was spotlessly clean, the linen was fresh and clean, and had a window that opened. The bathroom is right next door. A nice quiet, conveniently located area.

If you like a good bed and no frills while sharing a bathroom with other guests this is a good place for you. It has good wi-fi and the room heating unit is great. It is not in the bed and breakfast category since there is no breakfast, or anything resembling it. While the room heater is great the place itself is not heated - went at the start of winter and moving around was very cold, especially getting to the bathroom at night. Also cold temp not conducive to hanging out in any other room but your own - contrary to "inviting" spaces shown in the website pictures.

I don’t know where to begin .. This has to be the worst experience in my life .. And I really hope booking places can take action against such scam , This experiment scarred me for life.. felt like wearing mask again It smells like old wet mouldy Carpet.. Pls don’t fall for reviews of their own people / friends .. I’m actually surprised this place in Australia, and no one has taken action to shut it down for good.. Pls go and smell and check property before booking ..

Thank you for your review. To be honest, we don't put the carpet in the ground floor of the guesthouse which you stayed. We only put the some mats in the kitchen or some where if needed. We have received a 10 marks review from our guest who stayed the same day in next door of you. We don't understand why you still stayed two nights without called our manager to compliant about it.You shouldn't checked in the room with called our manager immediately to show her. So, you would get the fully refund if it is true. We believed that we got the best marks for the cleaning over 10 years since 2012. We hope you are well.

Nice & quiet, room was pleasant, bed was good. TV didn't work which annoyed, but not a big issue. Allround pretty good.

We are sorry you’re unhappy. We would work hard for your experience. Thank you for letting us know. You can always open the window in the room, or turn on the air conditioning if you smell something wrong. Some foods which curry, Chinese smelly tofu …. are stinks. We have checked the room after you checked out, there is no mould in the room at all. If you have Covid, you may only smell bad in everywhere even you eating nice foods. Some people lose their sense of smell. They are Covid symptoms.

It was in a convenient location to the hospital where my wife was staying. It was disappointing they couldn't accommodate me for the extra night but I appreciate the short notice difficulty.

The property was very congenial. It would be good to have some plates. There was one saucer which was covered in grease. The gutter at the front needs cleaning to stop it overflowing in the rain and making the entrance way wet.

I didn't have a chance to stay at the Guest house. I was notified that there was an issue with the booking. And I was redirected to a different hotel. When I checked in i couldn't believe my own eyes. The place was a very poor quality. Shared bathroom, no locks on the bathroom door. Dirty and smelly. The most disappointing hotel stay experience in my life.

It is great if you just need a comfortable bed and a quiet place to sleep. However, the restrictions on the use of the shared facilities including the shower were not ideal for me as I had early starts and late finishes for the job I was in Sydney to do.

I have stayed here a few times now, and I keep coming back because it's quiet, the beds and pillows are really comfy, and it's near the shops I go to. Also near some of my friends. I find the owner, Helen, very polite and friendly. I will be back!

During check in time, there was no one in reception, I have called phone numbers, no one answered. I waited there for 2 hours, no response to calls or messages. There were other people who booked and could not check in as well. I will not recommend this place.

Firstly we would like to apologise for this inconvenience to you, it was totally our mistake. Normally we close any unbooked rooms at 9pm to avoid this situation. On this occasion our manager forgot to do this due to fatigue before the Christmas shopping on 23th Dec. We believe that alternative accommodation was provided by Expedia and we paid the price differential. Once again we apologise for your inconvenience.

The property has a light and elegant design throughout. A very welcoming entrance and a little garden. Comfortable bed, sparkling white clean linen. A mini fridge, an iron&board, a TV internet, a heater and a hair dryer were provided in the room, soap&shampoo in the bathroom and all necessities in the kitchen. Everything is done with love and care. Very friendly and accommodating staff. There is not much space in the front yard for parking, but you can park on the street for 2 hrs between 8:00 and 18:00 and for any duration in other times. Very nice place.

For me the location is great (I used to live in the area and everything I need is close by). I'm usually only there for 2-4 nights and Helen, the owner, is kind, and makes me feel welcome. The premises is clean and the beds are oh-so-comfortable.
