Ok and value for money
The room seemed to be clean. Check in was smooth although a little confusing since there was no proper check in counter. I had to go ask at the bar. The other thing that wasn't noted in the description is, there is no lifts and you have to walk up the stairs to get to your room. So if you have difficulty with stairs, please take note. Entering the room, I noticed 2 packets of ear plugs! However I didn't find the room to be that noisy. I had the room facing Pacific Highway. Being a long weekend, it was quite ok. I removed 1 star from the review because I had to dispose a cockroach in the bathroom on the last night. The other thing to note is the lack of ventilation in the bathrooms. If you have a hot shower, it takes time to clear and apparently from the warning sign, it might trigger the smoke detector! Otherwise it was an ok hotel for the money spend. I slept well and it was easy to get to.

We stayed once before and were allocated room number 9, which was great. So we came back. However, this time we got room number 1, which was stressfully noisy. If the allocation is random, we will not come back.

Lovely little place for a nights stay! Easy check in and friendly staff. Just one recommendation is to look at getting the air conditioning filters cleaned, struggled to cool the small room on such a hot day I think this may help.

We booked a studio room, with a double bed and a single bed, due to problems in their reservation system, they gave us a double room, which was uncomfortable for us. All the windows in the bedroom and bathroom are sealed, without the possibility of being opened, to stop the sound of the highway, but yes or yes, you must use the air conditioning.

Awesome Place to Stay
Nightcap at Pymble is a regular hotel for us to stay in. The location and free parking is brilliant, not to upstage the affordability and always friendly, supportive staff. Great food and the free welcome drink is just an extra bonus for an already exceptional stay. Already booked in three more in the next month!

Bedroom was small but clean, and the bathroom - while compact - had been refurbished. Ideal for a one night stopover. Depending on room you will get some traffic noise, although the hotel does provide earplugs which came in useful. Advantage of being above the hotel is that the bar is actually an older style, not crowded, and a decent place to spend a few hours in so you don't need to sit in the bedroom. There were two bedside tables in the room, a better idea may be one bedside table and a chair. The food menu is limited but the food was good for the price. Onsite parking is limited, so be prepared to wait a few minutes for another guest to leave.

Art Deco renovated to perfection. Super friendly helpful staff, great rooms, slept well -they even give you ear plugs (it is right on the highway and a pub with good playlist) but not required for me. Great value, interesting place, great staff.

Probably something I should have thought about prior to booking; but my room facing the Pacific Highway was VERY noisy most of the night. Other than that I thought the room was good value for money and I was VERY impressed with the bed; white and clean.

COMFORTABLE room/stay when visiting Sydney area
Inside room with frosted window. No traffic/train noises, actually very quiet. Comfy compact well appointed and designed room, mattress, bedlinen, pillows and towels etc all of good quality... had a great nights sleep. Really liked the provided toiletries. Great shower pressure but bath room floor did get wet due to some leak... Not skimping on coffee/tea etc, 2 bottles of water in room as well and on top if you stay 10 % discount in restaurant. We appreciated the voucher for 2 free drinks. Check in service friendly and efficient. 2 carparks available. Very close to train station so you can park the car and take the train into city Would stay again, enjoyed it.

Overall i had a reasonable evening, the food in the bistro downstairs was top quality and staff we courteous, friendly and helpful. My unfortunate dislikes about the place was the stairs were inconvenient needs disability access, the room was much smaller then expected but very clean and tidy and there was only 1 keycard for 2 guests which i found inconvenient as well. My biggest complaint though was the shower in the room was leaking water under the seals and spilling a tonne of water into the rest of the bathroom which remained there all night it was very dangerous if you were trying to use the toilet after having a shower.

A surprise amounts pubs accomodation. Very good appointed room as well as service. Nice sound proved room considered it is next to the highway. Food also surprisingly not bad at all, the curry lamb pie especially. Will stay next time.

The room facilities are exactly as displayed in the publicity and in fact the bedroom and bathroom were excellent and could not be faulted. However getting a parking space at the facility was a nightmare. I waited nearly half an hour for a hotel patron to leave before I could park. I was parked in the larger carpark as the smaller one was full. This necessitated walking through the pub going down lots of steps and stairs. On arrival at the small Reception Desk I faced a very steep staircase (the large one) and a smaller one to get to my room. The publicity states there are six steps to negotiate which I thought was reasonable. However, if I had known that I faced over 20 steps I would never have made the booking as I have a broken toe and tears to my hamstring from an accident. True the staff member helped carry my luggage up to my room which I greatly appreciated. This was quite stressful as I was exhausted after the steep climb. I was advised that I could order dinner from the room and it would be delivered to me but the QR code Order System was a Fail. Also, the Air Conditioning System was not effective as the room was quite cold. I have the same brand at home so know how to get heat etc. So please include a photo of the staircase to the accommodation so guests can make an informed decision about whether a booking is viable or not. My stay resulted in no Dinner (as I could not face going down all the stairs and then coming back up again) and no Breakfast (of the hot kind).

One night stay at Pymble Hotel.
We really enjoyed our time at Pymble Hotel. Although being on a main road, the double glazing windows make the noise totally bearable. The room had been recently renovated with a clean and tidy design. The rain shower was a pleasant bonus. Highly recommended.
