Weekend Away

A great place with plenty of room to spread out. 4 couples and an elderly matriarch. A great backyard (a little TLC on the plantings would be good) and patio to chill in the mornings.Close to train and shops as required in a lovely quiet area.

Fabulous GEM of home in Sydney!

This is a fantastic property to stay at. It was very clean and well-maintained, and even though the house is older, it has all the modern touches you’d expect. It’s very conveniently located a short walk to a train station that can get you anywhere in downtown Sydney in 20 minutes. The outdoor space was absolutely lovely, and we enjoyed breakfast and dinner outside. The rooms were very comfortable, and we really enjoyed the fact that there were two bedrooms with king size beds in them. It was perfect for our large group. I’d recommend staying here if you have a large group and you want easy access to downtown Sydney. A real bonus worthy neighborhood, restaurants, a short, five minute walk away right before you got to the train station. It was delightful to be able to walk down and enjoy breakfast outside so close to the property.

It was difficult to contact the host at 9.00pm on the day we arrived as we were unable to read the messages sent the host on my email. It always said that the proterty us no more availible. So through local contact we got to know where the keys were and enyered the property. All the amenities were good except that one if the bathroom didnt have light in it. The switich was broken. Otherwise the stay was good and comfortable.We found one big spider in the room which had the curtains as separator. But it just moved away as quickly as possible under the furniture. So you better get the house pest free.
