We stayed for the Easter weekend period. The guys in the room next to us were on the phone from 11pm-7am was ridiculous. The walls are paper thin, we have a 2 year old and they kept us up 2 of the 3 nights. The 3rd night had a lady on the phone until late. Room inside was okay, fair few cockroaches in the bathroom and near the beds too. Not much to eat nearby for convenience.

The staff were lovely and very helpful, my room was (almost) immaculate and very comfortable. Aside from.... at the top of the extremely high ceiling was a rather large and unsightly hole. If I hadn't noticed it, I would've given the Room 11 out of 10. And of course, the location is super convenient to train lines and a quick bus to the airport (international terminal included)

This (hotel) should be reclassified as a Backpackers Hostel, a hostel would probably have better facilities than this establishment! After travelling overnight and upon checking-in, l had to pay AUD 50 for an early check-in. l had booked for 11 days at a total cost of CA$ 2,435.55, approx CA$ 221.41 per day. For this daily rate there was no restaurant and no daily cleaning of my room, l had to request the front desk to have someone clean my room! An earlier reviewer stated that "you get what you pay for", well for CA$ 221.41 per night, l expect better standard/facilities then this "so called hotel" has to offer!

I don’t know why there are so many negative comments ，I have been staying for 3 nights, so good so far, I get for what I paid for, room not big, but enough for a short stay or an airport transit, rooms are clean bed are comfort, and pretty nice rest area, I didn't experience much noise which someone mentioned in the comments .I’m generally satisfied for the stay that only cost $100 per night .

Pretty basic property. Nice and clean, but rooms were tiny, had to ask for pillows, no cutlery to eat dinner with, and very, very noisy. We were on the ground floor and the upstairs plumbing was exposed so I knew exactly when the person upstairs was going to the toilet. Good location to get to the airport, but other than that, I wouldn't book there again.

Booked and paid for two nights. I had to get the door entry card re-activated for the second night. TV worked for the first night, then on the second night didn’t because of no service. Room was not serviced on the second day. Bin not emptied. Milk for tea not provided. The stay was not value for money and I would not recommend staying at the hotel.

The room was much smaller than the pictures lead us to believe. You could hear every sound made outside. The key stopped working so we were locked out. I had to ask for clean towels and milk as the room was not touched by house keeping the entire time we were there. The bin was over flowing as it was very small and this was never checked. The air-conditioning while it wirked well was very loud and made a strange noise when ever it was turned on. Over all very disappointing especially fir the amount we paid would not recomend unless you are desperate and need to be close to the airport.

The rooms are tiny - not uncommon in a transit hotel, but it is a converted pub right on the highway, so it's very noisy (they do include complimentary ear plugs). My room did not have a functioning air conditioner, which meant that it was about 35 degrees at midnight, with no ventilation and high humidity (it was raining). I think I lost a Kg in sweat - I know I woke up thinking a park bench would have been a better option.

The room was filthy! On arrival not even a cool drink of any description, not even a cool jug of water. Yes tea and coffee staples supplied but that’s it. The staff 1 individual was more concerned with my I’d and checking my bank details, other than even saying welcome how may I help you? Or welcome to our hotel? Yes only one staff member which led to me being questioned as to who I was when returning after my business in town. With obviously a staffer who has no idea how to speak to a visitor to their premises. Most embarrassing. Also cockroaches running up the walls and all over the empty fridge which was filthy so was the carpet. The TV did not work and froze the only option to get it to function properly was to turn it off at the wall and on again. All in all a very unpleasant and frustrating stay. I will not be recommending this establishment to anyone ever!!!

Room was very small, no window to the outside world. It was clean! Entrance and reception through small door off noisy street. Parking was 1/2 a block away. Price was very competitive, and proximity to the Intl. airport was good!

Like many of the reviews, the common complaints were the noise, uncleanliness and difficulty getting hold of someone via the contact number provided - I can confirm this was exactly as stated. The only good thing was, they replied to my emails with regards to the late check in. Due to the issues mentioned, and location of the hotel, which didn’t provide a safe pickup point for guests, and no eatery facilities, we left 2 days earlier than planned. Unfortunately, our stay was non-refundable. I would say that the images on Expedia and other media sites give a false image of what the hotel rooms actually look like. More of a run-down motel. If you are wanting a really cheap, short stay and don’t mind noise and location, then this will be the place, otherwise wouldn’t recommend for more than a day.

The room was ok, nice and clean and look newly renovated, the single bed comfortable, very hard pillow, tea & coffee & milk supplied, walkin shower ensuite, it was adequate for an overnight stay Unless you get a taxi it is quite difficult to get to - need to train and then catch a bus, taxis have difficulty with the pick up due to there being no stopping areas outside the hotel, The airport shuttles do not stop there and the hotel does not provide a transfer service to the Airport. Air con noisy in the room , shower head broken, hair dryer not working, TV not working, no soundproofing in the walls, so if your neighbor talks on the phone till 4 in the morning it makes sleeping difficult, food outlets shut at 9:30 pm and there are few other food options if you are on a late flight , the hotel is getting renovations at present. As a supposed budget hotel in Sydney its OK, they have doubled their prices for New Year, it would be nice to see the items in the room fixed-I think its way over priced for the room as there are no other facilities offered in the hotel at all.

Staff reasonably helpful. Room had mosquito's on entry. Bed not young! no food, and no parking, in a not the most safe area in Sydney. The room also allowed occupants in other room to be heard, and cooking smells in the early hours of the morning!

Great overnight
We arrived early and we're allowed to wait in the courtyard. They got our rooms ready and allowed us to check in early. There is some construction going on for the proper lobby but stopped at a reasonable hour at night. Big courtyard open to the weather. The door to the rooms open to the courtyard and voices carry. Some older couple were quite loud at 10:30-11:00. After I spoke to them, they didn't quiet down. Wife told the security guy in the lobby and after he got free, must have spoken to them because the got less loud. Not quiet but manageable. Easy bus ride to the airport. Easy to navigate. Small community shops withing walking.

*DO NOT BOOK* Room’s aircon not working on a 40 degree day in Sydney. No alternate room, so left the hotel after speaking with Expedia, who said they would investigate a refund. But they apparently cannot contact the property manager, despite me ringing and getting through straight away every time, and agreeing with the manager that refund would occur! And that Expedia should contact the manager via phone or email and they will confirm the refund. However, Expedia will not try again and now every message with Expedia is the same - they have tried contacting manager several times and cannot proceed with refund. I will never ever use Expedia again. Hopeless. The hotel doesn’t care and will not reach out to Expedia. Both businesses have stuffed up and I’m left $320 out of pocket and can’t do anything about it. I really look forward to when Expedia fails as a business because of the AI revolution - they just won’t be needed.
