This House Made our Holiday!!!
We have been holidaying around Australia for many years. This is by far the best home we have experienced. Just so homely and so very comfortable. Michael is such a generous host and so helpful. The location is so peaceful and walking distance to town centre and eateries. Will definitely love to return to Burnie Brae again one day. Thanks a million Michael.

One of the best stays we have stayed at
Our stay at Burnie Brae was one of our best experiences we have experienced. The place was immaculate, warm, comfortable, all amenities easy to use making our experience hassel free and enjoyable. Upon leaving we noticed we had a flat tyre. It was cold, raining and miserable. We called the owner asking if we could go back into the property for warmth whilst waiting for NRMA. He was so hospitable, allowing us to re enter and keep warm for as long as we needed. We highly recommend this place. It was awesome. We will definitely go back. Organising our next stay there. Thank you!

Lovely old property, beautifully restored. Quiet street. We were very comfortable. Draw string for the curtains in one of the bedrooms was broken which made opening/closing the curtains in that room difficult. We would stay there again without any hesitation..

Amazing
What a stunning property easy access, stunning grounds, so peaceful and quiet, close to the shops, clean neat and tidy. A central Place to stay. The gardens are beautiful. The kitchen is as perfect as the pictures beautiful to cook in too. There is anything you really need to pack other than a quick stop at the shop for food. We cooked all our meals and prepped our lunches, daily cheese platters, wine and chocolate it was amazing thank you

A gorgeous house in a prime location
We feel quite privileged to have been able to stay in such a beautiful Federation house, complete with period decor and furnishings. The bathroom is fabulous. The kitchen is huge and has a very usable gas cook top plus oven. The bedrooms divine with very comfortable beds. The lounge is luxurious. The formal dining room exquisite (although we didn't use it but ate in the kitchen). Beautiful, well kept and interesting gardens. An easy walk from the house through to the main street. WiFi very strong.

Absolutely gorgeous!
It was a pleasure to stay at Burnie Brae. It was even more beautiful than the photos, inside and out. It was clean and comfortable, and in a convenient and quiet location. Michael was helpful and communicative. I would certainly recommend it and hope to stay again next time we go to the mountains.

Pretty , peaceful and convenient
Not our first stay here . Burnie brae is truly the perfect location, it’s a very short walk to bars ,supermarket and restaurants and an evening cocktail at the Carrington . The property is lovely and very comfortable. For being so close to town , it is super quiet. We will definitely be back again

Home away from home
Loved everything about this home, decorated so beautifully. Katoomba centre and Dan Murphy’s are within walking distance, as are Restaurants, Cafes, Big W, Woolworths, and Aldi are also close by. If you’re planning on purchasing a lot of groceries, it maybe best to take your car. I particularly liked that this home is in a very quiet neighbourhood, have not slept this well in a long time. Would have no hesitation in recommending Burnie Brae, if we are lucky enough to return one day, we would definitely stay again.

Lovely couple celebrating their 60th Wedding Anniversary who I'd spoken to twice on the phone. Once prior to their stay and once during their stay in regards to the hot water system even though clear instructions are provided in my e-mail information pack. But WOW - what a bizarre review as I received 5 stars on all criteria but I was downgraded overall on my 100% 1,000 per cal sheets cotton sheet and that we aren't located in Leura. I'll leave it up to future guests to decide what to make of it. Mike

Windy but cossie Mountain break
4 of us arrive to celebrate my 60th. Central heating kept us nice and warm . Clean and beautiful ambiance. Great location. Could walk to town. Great dinner at Avalon. Highly recommend.

Mountains gem
We were pleasantly surprised with the space and accommodation….just the vibe we were looking for. The heating worked very well and not too far a walk into town. We were a little disappointed that there were no pantry items in the cupboard but this did not ruin our lovely stay. Thank you Michael!

Cosy house with lovely host
Mike is a very friendly host, who was really kind to allow us to check in early. Communication was clear. The house is just lovely. My mother in law loved it so much and had a lot of photos. We won't be hesitant to recommend the house to friends :)

Beautifully prsented home & grounds, so close to shops & restraunts. We came for the hiking tracks at the Blue Mountains and we weren't disappointed. Brunie Brae Grand Old Dame
Lovely property tucked away in a quiet street but very convenient to the township of Katoomba and highway without any noise. My friend and I didn't want to leave. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Wonderful kitchen and bathroom with a waterfall shower. Comfy beds. No laundry, but laundromat close by.

This house is wonderful. Perfectly situated an easy walk from the main street of Katoomba, it’s a tastefully restored period home with all the modern features for a comfortable stay. Great beds and lounges, fully equipped kitchen, and modern bathroom. Mike was easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. We look forward to staying again.

Elegant and Cosy
Michael was very helpful and the images accurately reflect what we found during our stay in this cosy and character filled home. We loved the attention to detail in the standard of cleanliness AS WELL as the thoughtful supplies including luxurious shower gel, bath robes for all, Tim tams & fresh milk to start our stay. Great shower. Generous number of cups and glasses too! All in all, delighted to have found this holiday rental.
