Dear John, Thank you for your review and suggestions. I am sorry you were cold in early March. My cleaner knows to leave on the Hydronic heating before she finishes. It may not have been cold felt cold to her. Nevertheless it takes 20mins to heat each room especially when doors are closed to keep heat in. Dear Laurie, What a great shame that it rained heavily during your time in our Blue Mountains especially frustrating for an overseas visitor who has paid for the view. I really felt for you. Not much I could do about the weather. Due to our altitude 1,017 above sea level and humidity creates the Mist over the escarpment sometimes. It doesn't last long as the thermal currents usually carry the Mist away throughout the day. I appreciate your feedback and have asked our cleaner to use less floor cleaning solution on the lino as it can create a sticky film underfoot and the kitchen doors have now all been scrubbed down. Very few establishments offer face washers these days. The hydronic heating in the bathroom is perfect for drying towels. 5 mins on the heater and your hand towel is warm and dry. Our Property Manager would have gladly dropped off more towels had you of asked. Joss is a great lady and nothing is ever too much. Our guests iften compliment her high level of service in our 5 star reviews. She's always there to cater to your needs and states this on the Welcome email along with her phone number. Unfortunately bad weather is disappointing and I can only hope that the rest of your trip put a smile back on your face as Australia is a beautiful country. Best wishes Dalia

Dear Ann, Thank you for your feedback. We always strive to make every customer experience enjoyable and memorable. As I remember you booked the wrong dates and were having trouble sorting it out your end from England. At all times Joss our Property Manager was courteous and helpful with her advice, as she always is, and she understood how confused you were becoming in the process. Booking online from overseas especially when you are not computer literate can be challenging. Your booking clearly stated 2 guests and not 3. I showed it to you on arrival and took my time in explanation. The $55 accepted covered linen/towel for an extra bed. If you remember I was calm and accommodating and said it was no trouble that I would make up the extra bed for your niece. Had you have let us know this would have already been done. Our listing clearly states that the rear courtyard is shared with guests from the studio who have their own area at the far end of the courtyard and nowhere near your deck. I was not sunbathing on your deck. I was in fact waiting for your arrival to welcome you which I like to do whenever possible to make sure that you were happy with everything. I also left the windows and the front door open to allow for a lovely breeze through the apartment since it was a hot day and to save you looking for your code after a long 3 hour journey up the mountain. On your day of checkout our gardener arrived at 10am to work in the rear gardens as it was a work day. I could not phone you as you had an English mobile number, so I personally took him around the back to introduce him to any guests that may have been outside. Your checkout time was 11am when guests usually start packing up and washing up. Our gardens are huge and require upkeep. The reason I have to squeeze him in between bookings otherwise we then get complaints that the gardens look unloved. We always do our very best as our reviews speak for themselves. I am sorry you came to us frustrated and left angry.

Dear Minh, Thank you for your review. The apartment itself is very spacious and as you say the bathroom being a 1950's country home was not a priority in it's day. A new bathroom was completed in 2019 and looks fantastic. It would be a pleasure to host you again for more r n' r. I highly recommend returning in Sept/early Oct for the Spring Gardens of which our very own "Garden of the Stars" is a total winner. I've done my best to decorate around Richard Sterling's (famous Astrologer) former home and offer it to guests in it's original glory. Cloud 9 is the upstairs duplex, Sterling Manor the downstairs house and Garden of the Stars studio is situated on the left wing of the house. giving couples the opportunity to experience the breathtaking views at various price points. Dear Ryz, Thank you for your review of Sterling Manor and yes I've left the downstairs home in it's original 1950's decor as it was the home of the famous Australian Astrologer Richard Sterling who lived here for almost 50 years. The carpet in the bedroom and hallway was chosen by Richard and according to his wife Joy, was his favourite. Having followed Richard's astrology columns in the Women's Weekly for many years I feel quite honoured to now own his beautiful home and share it with my wonderful guests like yourselves. The escarpment view is indeed so close you can almost touch it and the well known "Garden of the Stars" terraced gardens featuring the 12 Astrology signs posted in the gardens make this a popular destination.
