The hotel is very convenient to Central Railway Station however the room we had was very small and as with most accommodation options in Sydney it is over priced for what you get.

One of the best affordable hotels I have stayed in Sydney city. Conveniently located near Central and UTS. Free coffee and grab & go breakfast bar available. Surprisingly quiet.

TV in the room did not work and housekeeping skipped my room 2 days in a row despite me being out all day. But hard to beat the location of the hotel.

2 Nights stay in Sydney
I spend two nights at hotel 28. The room is spacious and VERY quiet. Staff is great, helpful and friendly. For example, the air conditioner in my room wasn't functioning properly. The staffs did what they can to remedy the situation; get maintenance staff to fixed it and moved to a bigger room. I would definitely come back to 28 Hotel when I visit Sydney again.

The property offers basic service but everything is in good and serviceable condition. Although not in the heart of the CBD , it is close to pubs and eateries and walking distance to Sydney Central Railway station. The nearby Crystal Palace and Agincourt hotels along with Bar Broadway have among the best pub menus around.

If you are looking for a small clean hotel with excellent staff, and that is close to the Central train station, consider here. The rooms are small, but if you are just looking for a clean, safe place to sleep and shower, this hotel is perfect. Kudos to the woman who staffed the desk during the day, as she was an amazing employee. Also bonus points to Arman who checked us out early in the morning.

Great 24 hour coffee tea etc in the foyer. Excellent location for proximity to Central Station, Sydney. Clean and quiet with even the mini queen room pretty spacious. Definitly recommend.

The room was clean and spacious. There were one queen size and a single bed. Toilet had enough fresh towels and toiletries. Just few more hooks to hang towels outside the shower could make the bath a more pleasing experience.

Staff was very helpful. Room was really tiny, but perfectly clean. No USB port to charge my phone though, but the concierge let me borrow a usb plug. Coffee in the foyer was brilliant in the morning. Central location was ideal.

Service by staff was excellent especially Mitabh who was exceptional in his service and help to us. A thorough gentleman who tended to all our requests. We had a wonderful stay at 28 hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too difficult for them. Only a short walk to Central Station and Paddy’s Market as well as a convenience store, McDonald’s, KFC, Krispy Kreme etc. We stored our luggage without issue before and after check in. The complimentary breakfast from 7-10am was a wonderful touch. We will go there again next time we are in Sydney. Thanks so much 28 Hotel team ❤️

Perfect spot & staff!
Friendly staff, easy check-in (I was even able to check in early), spacious & comfortable room, and a great location! I needed a last-minute room for a night and couldn’t have found a better spot - definitely recommend!

Great location and smaller boutique style hotel
Location was great and close to the UTS campus and central station. Accommodations were very nice. Staff was good to deal with and the coffee and breakfast in the lobby was a nice bonus. Very disappointed that they no longer offer for the airport transfer as advertised on Hotels.com.

Always excellent stay in this centrally located hotel. Not 5 star, but absolutely everything you could need. Small, boutique, lovely staff, close to Central Station and Kensington Eat Street, excellent grab and go breakfast options. See you again next week!
