The room needs to be better designed - for instance, the TV should face a chair, not the bed; the toilet roll was at an impossible angle if you are seated on the toilet. I particularly liked the empty 'fridge, and the provision of a microwave oven - good idea !

Good location near the city, minimal housekeeping
Good location close to the city with friendly check in staff. The kitchenette is well equipped. We stayed for two nights but housekeeping didn’t attend to our room even though we were out all day - not sure if this was a mistake or they don’t offer daily housekeeping by default.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, we do not offer daily housekeeping if your stay is less than 8 nights however you can request as many amenities such as new towels, linens, top up in coffee, sugar etc all throughout your stay. We hope to see you next time!

Will definitely be happy to stay here again.. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and had everything you needed, and the bed was comfy! Some outside noise could be heard occasionally but nothing over the top. Great location also!

Clean but not so comfortable
We had an overnight stay, the room was clean, furnishings were ok but it was very small, felt poky. The window had some kind of mesh in the glass so distorted what view there was. The bed was not as comfortable as other hotels.I think a bit overpriced for what we got. We had to park up the street and walk back to the hotel. The staff were absolutely lovely and pleasant!

I was very happy with the location and room inclusions, particularly the kitchen facilities. I would definitely consider staying here again. The only issue we did have was finding the accommodation as we arrived after dark. The numbering of the building wasn't obvious and neither was it mentioned that the entrance was in Goulburn Street. The numbering of the building further along (?17-25) made us think that the building containing the Travelodge might be the building although in the light of day, it is obvious that this building is in Commonwealth St.

Supposed to be a hotel. Turns out it is a vacation club. Like the hotel but hate the sales pitch. No food or restraunts around and diabolical to find.

Great value for price
We are happy to agree with others who have rated the Wyndham as excellent. Our suite was very clean and well appointed with quality linen on the comfortable double bed, quality towels, toiletries, and coffee/tea. The TV and WiFi were both good. There are supermarkets within 10 minute walk so you can buy your food to prepare at the suite and save big money by skipping on the pricey restaurants in CBD Sydney. If you wish to stay closer to the harbour, be prepared to pay double what you pay at Wyndham.

My room 1107 was attached to the floor laundry and was noisy at all hours with other guests using it. I could also hear everything that was going on in the rooms around me. Couldn't sleep very well

Convenient for one night
Just a single night's stay while waiting for our flight back to San Francisco. We took the airport train in and got off at Monument station. The hotel was just a block away. We were early for check-in but were able to leave our luggage. There was an overly aggressive woman (not at reception) who promptly asked for our names. Perhaps she thought we were on the property's time-share plan (which we were not.) Overall, the hotel seemed a bit dated. We got a room on the first floor - so no view to speak of. There was gym next door, but did not use it. Our room had a small fridge, and a kettle for coffee/tea. Convenience store downstairs was handy. Location was convenient for Surry Hills, but is several blocks away from the main shopping center.

Our three night stay at Wyndham Sydney Suites was Awesome!! The hotel was was very attractive, modern and very clean / presentable. The staff were professional, knowledgeable, efficient and very personable, respectful and always smiling. Our room was clean and well appointed with a luxuriously comfortable king size bed. The hotel was centrally located, so that we were ale to walk to just about everything - Paddy’s Markets, the Sydney Opera House, Museums, Shopping, the Harbour Front, etc. When we retired in the evening, although we could look out on the city through our window, the room was soundproofed well enough that there was no noise and we slept soundly without any noise interruptions. We recommend the Wyndham Sydney Suites to anybody looking for a great stay for a reasonable price. Fantastic.....we’ll be back!!

We didn’t know this was a “time share” hotel and didn’t appreciate being pressured into attending a presentation on becoming a member. We had a kitchenette so we could eat in if we wanted but there was nowhere for 2 people to sit and eat

Wyndham suites continues to satisfy!
Once again Wyndham suites was our home away from home. With a do it yourself laundry and a well stocked kitchen, living room and separate bedroom. Their restaurant however, left a lot to be desired. However, their central downtown location provided many other food choices. As long as they continue to provide such good services and prices we will happily continue to stay at this chain.

Overpriced by fine
Basically last place standing to stay near business meetings. Obviously for longer term tourist stays. Over priced and very basic. But everything worked. Shower is small and toilet blocks access to sink in bathroom - which is obviously from these comments small. Good for those wanting to be near China Town and World Square end of town.

Quiet room in the heart of the city
We were booked into the first floor and concerned at first that street noise would keep us up but the room was dead quiet. They have extra thick windows so you hardly can hear anything from outside. The room was clean albeit small. On the other hand this is Sydney and the price was reasonable for such a great location. Only issue was parking. There is no hotel parking and you have to use a public parkade. We rolled in on a busy Saturday night and had to circle around for a long time looking for a spot. Not fun. That aside, we loved the hotel and would stay here again.

Part of the Wynham group which tries to sell every person staying here a time share equivalent by enticing you with a free breakfast and a free wine so they can bend your ear to buy into other products the Wynham group have
