Great hotel - close to the main street and all the relevant lifts but in a quieter area of town.
The breakfast was great and the staff were so always accomodating - assisting with plans and transport.

Staff were amazing, spa and pool were fantastic. Rooms fitted with quality fixtures. View was impressive from dining room, bar etc. very close to ST MORITZ station walking distance. Amazing utilization of tech in lift and room services. Room gifts were also exceptional. Would loved to have spent more time here!

Wonderful place to stay in Zermatt. Centrally located. Lovely, comfortable and well appointed rooms. Make sure you get a balcony room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay at Hotel Tannenhof again if/when I am in Zermatt again.

Top level facilities and service.
The investment to provide ultra luxury was obvious.
However, the architectural choices were not to our personal liking, since we prefer more traditional and classical 5 star hotels.

We have travelled through Europe for the past 4 weeks and stayed in some pretty impressive big name hotels along the way, but nothing compared to this.
The staff are brilliant. They went out of their way to make our time at Nira Alpina the best possible, from the moment we met the lovely gentleman at the train station for our transfer to the moment we were dropped off at the station to go home. They really looked after us well!

Breakfast was a delight every morning with a view onto the park next door. Staff were lovely. The room was also very comfortable although I did find the public spaces such as the foyer not very cosy.

We absolutely loved this hotel. A complimentary shuttle picks you up from the train station. You receive a welcome glass of bubbly or juice. We booked two massages (last minute) which were excellent. View from rooftop bar was simply stunning. Evening turn down service was a lovely touch. Buffet breakfast was substantial and very fresh. Staff were excellent - attentive and friendly. Would stay again and totally recommend.

My stay at the Grand Hotel Villa Castagnola Lugano was one of the best Hotel experiences I have ever had.
My room was exquisite especially my gorgeous balcony with fabulous views of Lake Lugano.
The surrounding gardens were so manicured and breathtaking!
I stayed at Castagnola for 5 nights and my daily breakfast was a treat to look forward to.
I also found the convenience of the Hotel to the city centre a bonus as I could easily walk this each day.
Being a woman travelling solo I could not have...
