"A beautiful property and cottage - and perfect amenities. Quiet star filled night skies and we even watched a deer swim across the calm lake after we had paddled by earlier in the day. "The bunkie was a perfect space for me, my husband, and our med and lg dogs. There is a beautiful view of the Ottawa River from the bedroom. The host has thought of almost anything you could need, from a guide of trails and attractions in the area, to a tie out on the deck for a dog, a variety of snacks for any type of palate, spices and oils for you to cook with, even instant oats and coffee or tea for the morning if you'd like. It felt very homey and warm, and we could imagine how warm it would be in the winter with the cute fireplace. I dropped one star because the one night we stayed here, the fire stick/t.v. didn't work for us (though we didn't reach out for help) and the bed could use a 2" or 3" foam topper, we had difficulty sleeping. Overall however, we were very impressed with this property."
