Very comfortable and well located business run by amazing couple. They make sure that their guests are welcomed and happy during the stay. Absolutely brilliant atmosphere and lovely decor.
Highly recommended
A delightful B&B, quirky and unusual in a great spot. Lovely walk down to the beach and close to the village pub! Hosts are lovely and friendly and breakfast was delicious. Can’t wait to return!
Ideal B&B for a weekend get away with great hospitality and adherence to Covid restrictions. Lovely garden area to sit and enjoy the sunshine with patio heaters for when it gets chilly.
Utterly lovely! Only a shame we couldn’t stay longer. The room was fantastic, colourful, well laid out, everything we needed and such a stunning view! The hosts were lovely and breakfast was delicious
We had fabulous stay! Steve and Pippa are great hosts with lots of local knowledge. Absolute value for money. The location was perfect for exploring the Gower area. And breakfasts were superb. Would highly recommend!
They made us and our dogs very welcome, the breakfast was lovely and the house was full of character, the village was close to the pub, beach and the moors , hope to return next year.
We booked Western House on a last minute whim rather than face yet another generic magnolia hotel room and found it a real treat! The colours and room were quirky and off beat, we had a lovely deep bath with lashings of hot water and the owners were friendly and welcoming of us and our dog. We went to the local pub a few minutes walk up the road for dinner, which was also very dog friendly and has an interesting Vegetarian selection. Breakfast in the morning was great and we got a directions for a windy walk along the shore before heading off on our travels. I would definitely recommend!
We enjoyed our stay. We were given a warm welcome on arrival from our friendly & helpful host Pippa, and provided with much appreciated tea & biscuits. Our room was clean & comfortable, and we liked the unique decor. It was a short walk to the local pub where we had a good evening meal. A nice breakfast was served in the colourful dining area.
We had a lovely welcome from Rhys & a compact room with a sea view.
The room was small but with an ensuite. The bed & pillows were divine, I had the best night sleep ever in a hotel. Everywhere is very colourful but not over powering.
Breakfast was lovely, cereals, fruit & yogurt with a full welsh breakfast to follow & toast.
Really sets you up for the day.
Hope to visit again.
Just excellent. Great communications following booking, emails with all info needed. The owners son and his girlfriend made us feel very welcome on arrival and helped with transport to wedding nearby. Room was gorgeous, compact and beautifully decorated. Super clean with kettle and tea/coffee provisions. Fella really appreciated heat of the shower too - completely adjustable so no bother for me. No issue with us arriving late from our do. Breakfast was a life saver with an amazing break sitting in the beautiful garden with tea and coffee delivered to us before a full brekkie that's left me still full at tea time! Honestly jealous of bed and mattress in our room but mostly just loved character of the place. Heart of llangennith, 4 min max walk to Kings Head and 5 mins drive (if cautious) to beach. Can't recommend enough!
we have just got back and had a lovely time. the hosts are lovely and make you feel at home especially when bringing your dog. we loved the whole experience which makes you forget about the real world if only for a short time.
If you want crisp white sheets and matching pillows may be not for you! But if like a bit of adventurous jolly décor, comfort, no starchiness , lovely people, great breakfast then that's what you will get. Recommend it highly. Loved Western House.
Great location to base ourselves for several days of walking and exploring the beautiful Gower coastline. Steve & Pippa were excellent hosts, very warm and welcoming.
Great stay with a lovely breakfast and great views from our room. Rhian the owners daughter looked after us and provided an excellent service. With the pub just a short walk from the house and great walking routes the accommodation was perfect.
What a lovely stay. A warm, friendly welcome and a cosy, clean, comfortable room. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Loaned us a useful map and gave us tips on where to visit. And cooked a fabulous breakfast to set us up for our day. Thank you for a great stay.
We could tell straight away as soon as the lovely Pippa greeted us that we were going to have a wonderful stay. The room was so beautiful, cosy, clean and had everything we needed including Wifi. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The bathroom was compact but no issues. We loved the decor throughout the house it was just so beautiful and unique it made us smile. Amazing location not far to the beach and so close to our favourite pub Kingshead Inn. Breakfast was first class and freshly cooked with quality ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was outstanding value and we hope to return again soon. Also a big thank you to Pongo <3 as well and a huge thank you to Pippa for her wonderful hospitality.
Steve and Pippa friendly and helpful, house enchanting - full of colourful art, crafts, fabrics - room warm and
comfortable with own bathroom. Perfect breakfast - cooked to order. Very good value. Good location for both beaches. Even a bus stop right outside! though came by car.
