Such a beautiful property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The grounds are lovely and also peaceful. We are looking forward to coming back in the spring! It snowed overnight and we awoke to a gorgeous white winter wonderland view! Thank you so much.

Charming property with spectacular lake views

Although our visit was very short, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This charming retreat provided a delightful escape and was very close to the Woodstock Museum, which was the purpose for our visit. The house was charming and the lake views were spectacular. The owners were supportive and communicative as needed. It was the perfect place to relax and appreciate the tranquility and beauty of the property.

A Piece of Heaven

We were at In the Cloud for 10 wonderful days. Totally comfortable. Lovely, thoughtful interiors and accessories. The view from the bedroom was heavenly. Only problem was we're seniors and the kitchen was downstairs——but lovely.

Lake Getaway

What a lovely lake oasis! If you are looking to escape the busyness and just relax in peace with beautiful views, then this is the place for you. Everything about our stay was wonderful! The hosts were very responsive and pleasantly surprised us with flowers for our anniversary. What a special added touch. We would definitely recommend this location!!

Weekend getaway

The house was very impressive on the inside. From the outside you think it was this small place but it really had very nice amenities. Unfortunately, we had some rain on our vacation which prevented us from doing the things that we wanted to do but overall I would rate the house as a five and we enjoyed our stay. Surprised to read on entry that we were not allowed to wear our shoes in the house. Way too many (do not) notes. House was nicely decorated and comfortable with lovely views. Enjoyed the stay..

We were on Cloud 9 at the In The Cloud Lake House

The house was well appointed, spacious and comfortable. Plenty of room both inside and out to unplug and relax. We caught 24 fish (4 different species) right off the deck during our short stay. Thank you Sunetra for being a wonderful host and for the quick responses to any questions we had. We hope to be back soon!

Really wonderful in every way

This house, property, and location are as nice, or nicer than the listing can display. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the quiet and beauty of the property. The house is fully furnished and supplied with everything you would need. I’ve stayed at many VRBO properties. This one ranks with the best. My biggest concern was to make sure I left it as pristine as I found it!! FIVE STARS

Very quaint cottage on a quiet lake in a wooded area.

My brother and I enjoyed our stay here for four days. The owner and the property manager/ house cleaner/ repair person, were very nice and attentive to any of our needs. The area is quite secluded and not a lot to see, other than a couple of old bridges. There are some small villages with Pubs and stores nearby. The lake was not at its best while we were there. A lot of tree debris was drifting on top of the water and not very nice to look at. However, there are lots of Geese and beavers in the lake and I saw a Gray heron. All in all, it was a nice relaxing stay for us, it allowed us time to reminisce. The house was very clean.

Lovely place but a few issues

House is charming and (we had good weather) great for enjoying peaceful reads on the patio overlooking the lake. Views from inside also great, but indoor seating less inviting. Check-in not perfect -- cleaner had had car trouble and was still at work, plus laundry load left in dryer. One of the windows was stuck open, unable to close it. Kitchen short on plates, and one or two USB ports would be helpful for phone recharging. But overall a very pretty and well maintained home, located in a picturesque and interesting area.

Aesthetically beautiful house with several improvement areas

My wife and I were looking forward to a nice getaway for our mini-moon. The vrbo is aesthetically beautiful with plenty of windows, sky lights, and a fully-loaded kitchen. We enjoyed taking the kayaks into the water. The location is close to multiple trails, restaurants, and breweries. Unfortunately, the vrbo did not meet our expectations. The indoor fireplace was non-operational due to insurance reasons (there was a sign on the property) despite being listed and pictured on vrbo. There was a mix-up in cleaning schedule so we encountered the property manager trying to get into the site unannounced (which the vrbo owners did apologize for). Above all, my wife and I heard what we believe were mice in the walls at night. Taking a closer look around, we found small droppings in the kitchen. By the end of our three-night stay, we found ourselves happy to head home. I notified the host before putting the review up and they said they would address as much as possible as there are some things out of their control. Hoping this review helps patch up some areas of improvement.

This was a great location, and the lake was beautiful. We loved watching the beavers swim and play at sunset. The house was cozy and had all we needed for our weekend trip. It was also a quick trip to the the Bethel Performing Arts Center.
