"Location, location , location, the Dune suite hotel is perfectly located in Porto Cesareo, about 3-4 km from the historical center with many good restaurants. Most importantly this hotel has a beautiful beach across the street, on the Ionian sea, 24 Celsius and calm 10/10 for the first week of October. At this period 2 transats and a parasol are complimentary. There is a nice bar and an evening restaurant plus takeout counters for lunch that you can eat at the beach. The rooftop pool setup of the hotel is very nice with lounge furniture and a perfect view of the sunset! Breakfast is absolutely complete and delicious. Would recommend without any doubt."

"Great hotel on the outskirts of Lecce, just a 20-minute walk from the historic center. The hotel is modern, very clean, and serves an excellent breakfast. It's especially convenient for travelers arriving by car. Parking in Lecce is also reasonably priced, at less than €1 per hour. Overall, a great place to stay when visiting Lecce."

"This is a beautiful property located in Surbo which is just outside of Lecce. Stayed here for 4 nights and we were a little unsure of what we booked when we drove into Surbo and pulled up to the gates because it was quite different from the other places we stayed on our trip which were more rural. But as soon as we entered the property we could see what a beautiful oasis it was. Gorgeous, clean, fruit trees everywhere and lovely staff. Our room was large and clean and had everything we needed. My only complaint about this stay is that there isn’t much sound proofing between the rooms so it could be loud at times. But guests were respectful of each other. The daily breakfast was beautiful, delicious and was a really nice variety of food. The pool is large and clean and refreshing and there are plenty of chairs to relax in outside. Simona (hopefully the spelling is correct!) made our stay even better. She is lovely and takes care of everything guest related. We went out for dinner one night in Surbo for pizza and not many people in the town speak English so we used our phones to translate. They were extremely friendly and happy to have us eating at the restaurant and made some of the best pizza we’ve ever had. Overall would highly recommend for rest and relaxation and it’s very easy to access Lecce during the day or to pop in for dinner (if you are lucky enough to find parking there)"
