About this property

Portofino 3 - Beachfront Boutique Complex

  • Summary:

With a cosmopolitan mix of lifestyle and location, this inviting Noosa Heads apartment is the kind of place where you can toss your keys in a drawer once you’ve unpacked, secure in the knowledge that everything you could possibly want or need is close at hand. Claiming a prime position in the very heart of Noosa’s central tourist hub, the two-bedroom retreat lies in a boutique complex of only eight apartments.

    The Space:

Given the proximity of the beach, bush and beyond, it’s hard to picture a more perfect holiday base for your family and/or friends.

Walking out the front door armed with a sense of adventure, your first stop is the vibrant Hastings St precinct, with its enticing mix of acclaimed retailers and restaurants. You can browse fabulous fashions and divine homewares, people watch up one side and down the other, indulge in gelato or try to narrow down your choice of eatery for lunch or dinner. It’s a task that can be a lot harder than it seems, with a wide array of acclaimed chefs creating decadent menus with the freshest fare from local suppliers. To narrow down your choices, look for a table that’s backgrounded by the sights and sounds of Main Beach. It’s as beautiful as anything you’ll find on a plate – and well worth a visit before or after you dine.

With golden sands stretching out along a glorious panorama, the beach leads down to the crystal clear waters of Laguna Bay, which are yours to enjoy any way you desire. Splash in the shallows, enjoy the caress of the incoming tide as you walk at the water’s edge or immerse yourself fully for a dose of water and waves. Other natural attractions include the nearby surf break and the eco attractions of Noosa National Park. Yet there’s an even more inviting drawcard a little closer to home – your own private courtyard.

Fully fenced for privacy, filled with lush plantings and furnished with sunloungers and a cosy sofa, this alfresco zone is a perfect destination for when you’re ready to take a break from the coastal crowds. Bathed in sunlight, it’s the perfect spot to retreat and rest or gather your guests together for outdoor dining, with a huge barbecue and a table and chairs sitting under cover. The complex also boasts a furnished pool zone for cooling off on days when the temperature marches ever higher.

Inside the welcoming unit, a subtle colour scheme draws on neutral shades that are enlivened by touches of blue and green. Aquatic-themed artworks and stylish accents such as white timber shutters take the design to the next level while the expansive use of glass draws in beautiful natural light.

With the bedrooms positioned together, the lifestyle focus of the apartment is centred on a spacious living and dining zone that lies adjacent to the well-equipped kitchen. It’s the perfect place to gather for meals, play boardgames, share adventures from the day that’s been and, most importantly, talk about what’s yet to come. And there’s one thing you already know for sure – however your plans develop, you’re not going to need your car keys. Not when everything you could possibly want and need is right outside your front door.

Guests will have exclusive access to the entire home and shared pool throughout their stay

    The Neighborhood:

Hastings Street, Noosa, is a vibrant hub that caters to every traveller’s desires, offering an impressive array of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Home to iconic Hastings Street, which is famous for its shopping and dining, Noosa’s main beach is lined with restaurants, cafes, bars and an eclectic array of boutiques, homeware stores, galleries, and surf stores.

Noosa Junction or as it is affectionately known by locals, ‘The Junga’ is a buzzing little village just over the hill from Hastings Street, ‘The Junga’ is home to a wonderful world of bars, restaurants, live music, coffee shops, fashion boutiques, laneways, night markets, street art and photo galleries.

With the Noosa River winding through its heart and river hire businesses dotted along its 2km of grassy foreshore, Noosaville is a lively centre of aquatic activities including swimming, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing and jet skiing. Noosa ferry’s custom-built classic riverboats cruise between Hastings Street, Noosaville and Tewantin (Noosa Marina) with seven stops along the Noosa River with a one-way trip taking about 40 minutes.

Tewantin is a quiet, village-style suburb situated along the Noosa River from Noosaville which features a pedestrian-friendly main street renowned for its striking Poinciana trees showcasing vibrant orange-red flowers during the summer months. Inland from Noosa and popular for day trips is the Hinterland where green valleys are dotted with cafes, galleries, vintage stores, markets and historic pubs. Known for their incredible natural beauty, the Noosa Hinterland is comprised of country towns including Eumundi, Cooroy, Pomona, Kin Kin, Cooran and is also home to the Noosa Everglades. One of only two everglades’ systems on Earth, the Noosa Everglades is a 60km stretch of pristine waters, magnificent flora and fauna and narrow waterways.

Heading south, locals and visitors alike love Peregian Beach for its laidback and chilled beachy vibe and its village square which is home to boutique stores, a host of restaurants, cafes and takeaways set under cool shady trees and its makers’ market held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday morning of each month.
