Oaks in Sunshine Coast

"Great location and price. Unfortunately the bed sheets were not clean and has what looked like blood on the sheets and quilt. The staff at the front desk were fantastic. Once I reported the dirty sheets, they were up straight away and remade the bed. The seating wa also heavily stained and looked very unsightly. I wrote an email and sent pictures to the hotel email address and it's now been 4 days later and I haven't heard anything back from them."

"I normally always stay here at the Oaks but this rom I was in this time was the worst and oldest one I've ever stayed in .. I know they are mostly individually owned but this one really needs to be done up.. is in the first of the Oaks buildings Aleutian and only had one tv in a 2 brm apartment and didn't even have the nice soft plush blankets that the Oaks normally has,I had to ask for some and they weren't those blankets.. was clean and comfortable thou but really needs a makeover"

"The one issue we had was our request for a portocot. We made a request well in advance and was told a portocot would be supplied. Once we arrived and checked in the Portocot was not in the room (our baby had to sleep in the car). House keeping arranged one but the mattress was too small (which is a safety issue). Another portocot was arranged which had the correct mattress size, however there was mould on all 4 edges sides of the top rails of the portocot. Very frustrating particularly when travelling with a young baby. "
