The whole joint was full of mold. Every Aircon in the apartment was filthy and leaked water. The rooms had not been cleaned. Our blankets were covered in stains and the hotel was way over priced.

The location.was excellent, close to shops cafe's, restaurants, the beach was across the road and a huge shopping centre was a short drive up the road.

Stunning ocean view and onsite parking Ony disappointed us no WI FI And the 2nd bedroom with 2 single bed we try to join it so it will become one once you lie on it ....it moves separately because of the wheel of the bed. But still good and affordable apartment We don't mind to stay there again

Thank you for your review. Currently only our deluxe units have wifi. The body coroprate is working to have wifi available for all in the near future

No wifi as confirmed, and no solution provided even I contacted to the reception or eotif. Toilet seat is detached & no light in 2nd bedroom, no action was taken even being reported to reception. The receptionist even ask us to change the light bulb by providing us spare ones....

Good place for a short getaway
We enjoyed our stay at Maroochy Sands. Swimming pool was great for the kids and room was ok. Parking area is a bit narrow specially if you enter on the eastern garage gate but other than that, all good. Fans needed some urgent cleaning.

A lot of things in our unit weren’t working. The TV in the living room has no signal to watch free to air TV. Foxtel works though. The TV in the main bedroom has no remote. The aircon in the main bedroom doesn’t cool. The remote in the second bedroom doesn’t work. Worst still there were poos in the toilet!

This unit is no longer in our petting pool as owner was not maintaining. Im sure your next stay will be much better

Terrible would not ever recommend, parking entry dangerous, rude manager when we asked a question, condition of propert below 1 star standard, smelly rooms, dirty. Broken tiles and doors. Too much to mention

Unit 31. Clean and tidy. Management obliging and quick to sort any small things. Good position near beaches and eating places. Great sea views. Parking good. Needing revamp of lounge seating. Outside seating area vey nice but outdoor furniture not so practical. Especially young families

Great View
We all had a wonderful time @ Maroochy Sands. Key to lifts a bit confusing at first. Had to ask for more toilet paper & bin liners..There were 6 of us. Overall a great experience asked for early check in & got it Thanks Renee :)

we stayed in unit 50, great location but extremely disappointing once inside This is very old, budget accommodation The shower had mould on the ceiling, rust on the braided hose The kitchen window really needed a good clean and the splash back on the sink was all buckled from water The drawers in the bedrooms need to be replaced, the base of the chipboard drawers was so bad that the base was about to break, it would have collapsed with anything in them, they were a mess The two single beds in the room smelt like body odour The pipes beside the toilet had stains on them The tap in the bathroom made weird noises and spluttered when turned on The TV was so small you had to sit close to be able to hear and see, not very relaxing The seats at the dining table are so badly stained I didn't want to sit on them Overall, I think this property should be removed from rental until it is renovated to a minimal standard

Clean apartment with excellent view
We reached hotel late as the GPS predicted a much shorter time to reach compared to actual. Luckily, the reception was not closed. Also, my earlier email request for an aircon room was already prearranged. Room was clean except there were some ants at the toilet area. We borrowed insecticide from the counter and that solved the ants problem. Washer and dryer were useful as we were on a 2 weeks holiday. No problem in finding a free carpark too. Did not manage to use the pool as it was too cold. Would recommend this place and will revisit if I come to Sunshine Coast again.

Great position and accommodation
The room was perfect for our stay and loved the pol, but the lifts are frustrating as very slow & one kept breaking down. Also lack of wifi is a negative. Staff very friendly & helpful.

Fantastic apartment and views
We stayed on 9th floor. Apartment was newly renovated, with new floors bathroom and kitchen. There was a room with a queen bed and another with two single beds. In main bedroom there is a large built in wardrobe and a 24” wall mounted tv. In sitting area two 3 seater sofas. Kitchen had all imaginable comforts. In bathroom a dryer and washing machine. Every room had aircon. View from 9th of the sea are stunning. Pool was heated and in same area there are barbecues where we cooked one of our meals. Parking is undercover keeping car cool. Only one lift working. Pay extra and stay in a superior room and won’t be disappointed.

Spacious apartment with nice views, however, my booking said it included air conditioning but there was none and only 2 in the building that have air conditioning. It was very hot but the pool & bbq area is lovely and it’s in a great location.

It’s affordable and close to the beach, is very much a you get what you pay for situation. Wasn’t terrible, if you’re just looking for somewhere to sleep and won’t be spending much time in the hotel, I’d recommend it. But if you’re wanting somewhere to actually spend time and relax, I wouldn’t.

Large clean rooms with a fantastic pool/BBQ area. Room was basic with no dishwasher but with plenty of restaurants around we didn't use many dishes.

Didn't suit me.
Nice location near beach and cafes. I have a health problem with mould. The apartment especially the bedroom reaked of mould. I had to sleep elsewhere and spend time at the hotel outside on the balcony which had a great view of the ocean.

Good location. Great value for money.
Good location. Spacious room. Excellent view. Sure it's not flashy - but for the money its fantastic. Comfortable beds. Comfortable lounge suite. Pay tv with lots of channels. Great pool. And it's all self contained with a kitchen, fridge, washer and dryer. All in all i would highly recommend it and I'll definitely be returning.

Great position, unit needing a good clean.
Checkin was very helpful. The unit floor was dirty (we got black feet off the tiles) and the toilet leaked over the floor after flushing. The position and view were first class. Parking was ok but awkward to access, needing to get out of the car to unlock gate while parked on the footpath. Not a dealbreaker though!

Beautiful view from balcony.
Lovely comfy settees, wel equipped kitchen. In fact, everything one could need. Staff were very nice. Had a minor propblem with the bathroom door closing but nothing else that didn't work. I would recommmend it to anyone. Not much to doo around the area if your not into beaches... surfing etc. but a lovely place to stay.

On first look I was pleased at the size and layout of the rooms. But the floors outside of the bedrooms were needing a mop to the extent that I did it on my second day as the stickiness was spoiling it for me. Also the road outside is busy by day and popular with modified car hooners at night.

Nice apartment close to the beach but a little bit
Maroochy Sands was in a great location, close to the beach and other facilities but it wasn’t extremely clean. The cupboards had crumbs in them, floors were dirty and the bathrooms weren’t clean either. For a cheap 2 night stay it was okay, however I wouldn’t recommend it for a weeks stay. The staff were great though, friendly and welcoming!
