Spectacular getaway

The views and tranquility are just amazing. Paul is a super host and goes above expectations to make guests comfortable, breakfast are also simply amazing. Highly recommend this awesome value for money property

The room, property, facilities and view were all amazing (even better than photos if you can believe that). The hosts were faultlessly terrific and then breakfast was the best we’ve ever had. Have recommended Alexandria Retreat to friends and family and would adore another stay’

Superb Scenic Stay

Immaculately presented and well serviced. The views are uninterrupted to overlook the coastline and wildlife abundant. Wallabies, kooka's and the likes. Location to Noosa or Eumundi five ten minute scenic drives.

Hinterland with kookaburras !!

Paul's bed and breakfast is located in a part of the Hinterland , stillness and birdlife to watch and experience whilst enjoying a delicious breakfast. Paul's attention to detail with the bedroom and other areas is very notable. Paul is welcoming, ensures your stay is enjoyable and can suggest restaurants located nearby. It's just such a lovely space to reset and enjoy and feel very spoilt . Thankyou Paul .

Alexandra retreat

We stayed at the Alexandra Retreat for 3 nights, I wish it was for 7 nights . Paul is an a wonderful host, he made us so welcome & so easy to chat to. The house is beautiful light an airy. The breakfast is the best. We will definitely be back.

Highly recommended

Paul’s place is great. Views are wonderful, breakfasts mean lunch is not required, local wildlife comes to say hello, location is peaceful, but a short drive from Noosa etc and Paul makes you feel at home. Will be back.

Hinterland location with gorgeous pool

Absolute 5 star luxury stay. Breakfasts were to die for! Amazing fruit salad, eggs on Turkish bread and a full plate more. This was heaps better than top Hotels. We really appreciated the time and compassion put in. The host was very accommodating, informative and friendly.

Best place to relax and unwind

Paul has a gem of a place. It is absolutely gorgeous from the light fittings to the extra large doors, the pool, and the VIEWS. Loved the kookaburras and magpies visiting every morning too. Pauls breakfasts are to die for and an amazing start to any day. There is so much to do in short distance and my husband and I were quickly able to unwind and relax surrounded by this peaceful ambiance. Thank you Paul for your hospitality and allowing us to stay at your place. It’s stunning and we hope to return in the new year. Thank you too for the crumbs to do our own special tomatoes - made my foodie hubby’s day. All the best to you!

Wonderful location. The property is light and airy with all the amenities to help you relax.

Paul is a wonderful host. Attentitive, will go out of his way to assist, and a great cook. He makes you feel at home without imposing. The property is well kept and maintenance is prompt. I would recommend this property as an escape for any couple with a pool and local walking tracks. It is also a fantastic staging point to go into Noosa and take advantage of the beaches and restaurants. We will certainly seek to stay Alexandria Retreat when we next visit the Sunshine Coast.

Absolutely Beautiful!

My mum and I stayed at Alexandria just after Christmas. We were astounded by the breathtaking views and beauty of the room. Our hosts looked after our every need and the breakfast was delicious and extremely filling. I especially enjoyed seeing the wallabies outside of our room in the mornings. If you are looking for a beautiful Australian experience I highly recommend Alexandria retreat.

Beautiful,tranquil property

We spent 5 lovely days ,based at Alexandria Retreat. Delightful fresh breakfast is served outside, with gorgeous view of valley,and distant ocean.Our host suggested excellent local restaurants and activities,and couldn't do enough to help us enjoy our stay.

My mother and I stayed here for three days and we both agree it was the most special place we have ever stayed. The property and grounds are just amazing and everything is 5 star quality.The breakfasts were gorgeous - real fine dining and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts.This was the perfect mix of pampered luxury, stunning surroundings, and being made to feel like you were a friend rather than a guest.Thanks to Paul and Shaun for a wonderful stay - it was perfect.
