"We are a group of 8 adults and 4 kids (ages 8-17). This was the first time staying in NH, after previous rentals on Cape Cod and NC beaches. The home was a little further from some amenities, but the setup and water access was well worth it. Although there are homes nearby, the area is extremely quiet, and very private. Sam was an absolutely wonderful host, easy to contact via text, and quick to respond to any questions we had.This house is extremely well stocked. All draws, cabinets, switches, etc. were labeled as to contents. There was no fumbling around for dishes, small appliances, etc, in the kitchen. Access to a large secure garage was a big plus. It was well organized with spots for paddles, life vests, fishing poles, along with a tackle box. There were two kayaks and a canoe (extra paddles and life jackets) which we were put to good use, as was the fire pit down by the water. Water access was on a private cove which flowed into a nice size pond/lake. The layout of the house worked out great for our family, with bedrooms and baths on three levels all stocked with clean linens and towels. In addition to the large living room on the main level, there is a seating area with TV in the lower level which worked out well for the kids. The screened in porch was a great place to spend time reading.Everyone in the family (even the teenagers!) really enjoyed the house and the setting. Thanks for a wonderful week!"

"We had an outstanding stay at this amazing property. Alex was a wonderful host in every way. He was quick to respond when I had questions and seemed to genuinely care about us having an outstanding experience. The property was beautifully landscaped with plenty of room for games on the lawn, relaxing on the wrap around deck, sitting at the fire pit making s’mores, and of course swimming! The waterfront was perfect with a clean sandy beach. The rocks in the water had to be carefully negotiated though. We spent many hours kayaking and paddle boarding. We also rented a pontoon boat and spend a day tubing and exploring the lake. Many fish were caught right off the dock. What fun! The home was immaculate and well equipped with everything we could possibly need including two small refrigerators for drinks. It was perfect for our family of 17 ranging in ages 74-6. Sleeping accommodations were ample even for our large group. A big hit was the hidden nook with mattress under the stairs. We had pool tournaments, PacMan challenges, puzzle making, cookie baking contests and never felt cramped. At dinner time the large table fit all 17 of us. It was an absolutely fabulous week. "House with pool and hot tub was amazing. The house is very large and plenty of room . The only thing I had to bring with me was clothes and food everything else was provided for us. Highly recommend staying at the Milton house absolutely fantastic vacation"

"We've stayed at Merrymeeting Lake before, but not at this property. It's a keeper! The lake itself is crystal clear and ideal for swimming and other water activities. The house is fully stocked with everything you might need, and the host responded immediately to any questions we had. Also, the beds were extremely comfortable which is a must for us."

"Everything about this rental was perfect for us! Clean, cozy, and right on the water. We enjoyed the hot tub, fireplaces (indoor and outdoor), and the dock. The hosts were wonderful and we would definitely come back as we have friends in the area and it's just 10 minutes from their house."
