"We stayed at Imeris for 6 nights with our 2-year-old son, and had a really special experience. The family and community were incredibly warm and welcoming, and our little boy was absolutely adored the whole time. Just a heads up, if you’re travelling with a baby, be prepared for a lot of love, including the occasional kiss from strangers The home-cooked food was a highlight, with fresh fish served most days.For the first few nights, we had the homestay to ourselves, which felt really personal and gave us a beautiful glimpse into local life. As the week went on, more guests arrived and it gradually shifted into more of a social, backpacker-style environment, with around a dozen other international travellers, mostly from Europe. Good to check in if that’s not the vibe you’re after. We also got upgraded to a lovely house on the hill, which gave us added privacy for the family! All in all awesome stay. Thanks so much"

"There was limited power and lightning, flies all over the food, if you want to feel like your living in a cave with flies all over your food you should go here, if not you should stay away, was not 3 - 5 coarse meals as advertised, really need some complimentary sports equipment to use while there, **do not vist***"

"This lodge is not up front about letting you know there is a hefty mandatory per day food charge. I booked through Expedia expecting just lodging but found out after booking my room and the ferry to take me there that there is a non negotiable $20 tender fee and $80.00 op per night food charge. There is nothing on the Expedia site about this and Expedia was not helpful. Unfortunately I booked 2 days prior to arrival and had a non refundable return ticket via the ferry so could not change. There is limited power, no eSIM data and no wifi so I had to keep the booking. Like other island resorts they really need to state up front, before you book, the full cost of staying there. This is an all inclusive not just a room booking as you are lead to believe in Expedia. Expedia is aware an to date has not updated their site. Just be aware the cost is a lot more than advertised. "The staff were beyond friendly and helpful. They were wonderful , from Kasa the manager, Bunny , Sophia and ? In the kitchen to the guys who provided us with coconuts and fixed any problems. Our outside shower was fantastic despite occasional water supply problems "
