The best area to stay in Sulkovec is within the village centre itself, particularly around the main square.

Sulkovec is a small, quiet village, so the "best area" refers to staying directly within its residential heart. This area offers the convenience of being close to the local shop and the two traditional pubs, which are the main social hubs. The village church, a prominent landmark, is also located centrally. Accommodation here typically consists of guesthouses or renovated cottages.

Couples looking for a tranquil escape will find the village centre ideal. It's a place for long walks in the surrounding countryside, enjoying the peace and quiet, and experiencing a slower pace of life. The local pubs offer a chance to try traditional Czech food and drink in a relaxed setting.

For families with young children, staying in the village centre provides easy access to the local playground and open spaces for children to play.

The best time to go to Sulkovec is during the summer months, from June to August, or in the winter for snow-based activities, typically from December to March.

For those looking to enjoy the outdoors and explore the picturesque landscape, summer offers warm, pleasant weather superb for hiking and cycling. The countryside is green and vibrant, and you'll find local events and markets in nearby towns. Families often find this a great time to visit, with plenty of opportunities for children to play outside and discover nature.

Winter transforms Sulkovec into a snowy wonderland, ideal for cross-country skiing and other winter sports. The trails are well-maintained, and the crisp air makes for an invigorating experience. Couples seeking a romantic, quiet getaway might particularly enjoy the serene, snow-covered scenery and cosy evenings by a fireplace.
