When is the best time to go to Sukhothai?
The best time to visit Sukhothai is during the dry season, specifically from November to February, when the weather is cooler and more comfortable for exploring.During these months, you'll experience pleasant temperatures, typically ranging from 20°C to 30°C, with less humidity. This makes it ideal for spending extended periods outdoors, especially when cycling around the Sukhothai Historical Park. The clear skies are also superb for photography, particularly at sunrise or sunset over the ancient ruins.Couples or solo travellers who enjoy outdoor activities and history will find this period particularly appealing. The cooler weather allows for comfortable exploration of the park's temples and monuments, such as Wat Mahathat and Wat Si Chum, without the intense heat and humidity often found at other times of the year.
