Cozy creekside cabin w/ wraparound covered deck and barrel sauna

"We thoroughly enjoyed this cabin and its location made it easy to travel to multiple towns and tourists destinations, all within 30 minutes away.(Hillsville, Fancy Gap, Mt Airy NC, Floyd and Galax) The cabin was just as the pictures showed-comfortable and clean and had all the extras to make it perfect for our anniversary trip. We both slept great from the first night on, which is unusual for us in a new place. We enjoyed the decks and porch and the creek sounds were so relaxing. Alison was wonderful to work with and provided lots of suggestions for places to visit or restaurants to check out. There were visitors in the other cabin for one night and we never even knew anyone was there until the next morning. Other than a little extra caution needed to turn in or out of the driveway (because of curvy road both ways) there is nothing else needed to make this cabin a great choice! We would certainly rent it again."

"This pet friendly cabin has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The host provided detailed info about the cabin. Check-in was easy and everyting was clean and easy to find. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a cozy retreat with beautiful mountain and meadow views."

"We were very happy with our stay at the Hotel Floyd. The room, while simple in decor, was very spacious compared to name brand hotels. We appreciated that the room furnishings were mostly created from reclaimed wood from the area. All areas of the room were clean which is very important to us. Breakfast, served in a nice sized dining area, consisted of eggs, grits, toast, sausage, coffee, juice, and more. We loved that the hotel was within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The little farmers market was less than a 5 minute walk. The only thing that could be improved is the quality of the mattresses in the room. They weren’t horrible but you could feel every movement if your spouse turned in the night. We enjoyed our stay and will return again."

"The Garden House sits on a beautiful property with gorgeous views. The home has very comfortable furnishings and full kitchen and grill outside. The owners are very welcoming and attentive to a traveler’s questions or needs. A welcome book provides all the necessary information for the stay."
