Debonaire Suite: Luxurious - Cozy - Downtown

Come relax in a cozy and comfortable luxury space - lots of natural light from feature windows and skylights, high ceilings, a fireplace (electric) and original brick and natural wood features.

The Arbour suite is a 3.7 minute walk to the new Tom Patterson Theatre, and 7 steps to the iconic coffee shop Balzacs.

All four theatres, as well as restaurants, shops and parks are an easy walking distance - most guests never use their vehicle once it is parked!

The Arbour is a luxuriously cozy downtown suite. Beautifully laid out, very quiet and very clean. This space is a calm retreat in the middle of downtown Stratford.

Features include high speed internet, fireplace (electric), smart TV.

Whether you choose to eat out or prepare your own meals, the kitchen in the Arbour is fully equipped- including a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, plus all the utensils, dishes and pots you might need. Tea, coffee, cream and sugar are provided.

This suite will sleep up to four guests. There is one Queen bed plus a couch that pulls out to a double sized bed.

Laundry facilities are available for stays of a week or longer.

Arbour suite is located on the second story of the building, up one flight of stairs. The entrance is on the main street at the front of the building.
Parking is located behind the building.

We have fully adopted the Airbnb cleaning and sanitizing protocols which were developed in partnership with experts in health and hospitality. See `Enhanced Cleaning` above for more details.

Your suite is located near exceptional coffee shops (e.g. Balzac`s two doors down), fine dining, pub fare and international cuisine.
Many unique shops are in the downtown including local art, bookstores, clothing, specialty food, and curiosities. Stratford has an extensive park system where you can enjoy long walks.
The Avon, Studio and Tom Patterson theatres are 5 minutes walking and the Festival Theatre is 15.
Shoppers is less than a block away for groceries and other amenities.

Many points of interest are within walking distance. However, Stratford does offer a bus system and taxis are available at a flat rate of $11 to any location within the city limits.

We stayed for three nights at the The Arbour - the suite facing Ontario Street. Serena has put together a wonderful little studio with nice sitting area and full kitchen and all the amenities you need. The captain's bed has six drawers on each side. We were very comfortable and will definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Excellent location for the Theatre Festival

We enjoyed our stay at this property because the location is so central. A smaller vehicle is vital for parking at this location. There is no hot tub.

This is a superb apartment in the heart of downtown Stratford. It’s spacious, comfortable, well furnished, bright, and spotlessly clean. Full kitchen, good sized bathroom with an excellent shower. It’s close to coffee shops, restaurants, and theatres. Coffee, tea, cream, and Rheo Thompson mint smoothies were greatly appreciated. Serena is a terrific host. This is one of the best apartments we’ve stayed at in Stratford!

Great stay in downtown Stratford

There are two units at the Debonaire Suites, and we stayed in the one that overlooks Ontario Street, the main street in downtown Stratford. Despite facing the busy street, the soundproofing is pretty amazing -- you can barely hear any of the traffic other than the loudest of vehicles. The room itself is nicely appointed, with a sitting area, small kitchen, and the area with the bed. Everything was clean, and nicely appointed. The host was very responsive, and they accommodated a request to shorten our stay when we had a change of plans. I highly recommend this place if you have 2 or 3 people for a Stratford trip!

Excellent place to stay

We stayed for 3 nights and had no plans really, other than to relax together and find great restaurants. This place was exactly what we were looking for. Clean, great location within walking distance of great shops & restaurants & the river, and Serena was very communicative and clear about check-in and check-out procedure. The tight parking spot provided may have been a problem had the lot been full, but we had no issues even with our larger vehicle. Coffee, creamer, sugar, trates and snacks were a nice surprise. The only minor issue was streetnoise, but upon leaving we saw earplugs available in the bathroom drawer so that would have been bo issue at all thanks to Serena! We will definitely recommend and hopefully return.

Amazing Get-Away

My son and i needed a break from a busy summer work schedule and decided to see some shows in Stratford. Once we arrived we did not move our car. Serena left a detailed list of places to dine and the theaters were within walking distance. The suite was very clean and comfortable. Communication with Serena was very easy and she was available if we had questions. Would definitely like to return someday. clean and comfortable.

Right in town

I loved being so close to all of the theaters! The place had everything we could possibly need and I felt I could have utilized the kitchen more if I had more time to prepare. We had been traveling a lot so this was a night quiet stay except for traffic sounds which were expected with the convenience. My only complaint about our stay was the curtains. They don’t block out light like I am used to so we really needed eye masks to sleep completely comfortable.

A great little getaway!

What a beautiful spot! Thoughtfully appointed with things like a hair dryer, bandaids, iron etc provided. Skylights and large windows provide lots of natural light. Serena have great directions for check in, and then checked in with us later on to make sure everything had gone smoothly and we were settling in well. Of note to potential renters- as this vrbo is on a Main Street, traffic noises are inevitable. Keep this in mind if you prefer a place that is completely silent. There are also about 20 steps up to the space, good to know if you have mobility challenges.

Fantastic Location and Set Up!

This was just the perfect place for us to stay. Fantastically set up with all you could need, and the little extra touches were fabulous. Our first trip to the area, and we were there for two nights for a family wedding. It worked out perfectly, as I booked prior to knowing the venue and it turned out to be less than a block away! All the touches and amenities included in this studio suite were wonderful. Down to the chocolates and coffee and cream and also a lint roller! Super comfy set up and the bed was amazing. I didn't want to leave the space, but we had to do some exploring as well. The view overlooking a busy street was fabulous. I highly recommend. We got to meet our host's partner in passing and he was lovely as well. Thank you!
