We absolutely loved our stay in Little Oaks over the new year! We always try to book somewhere peaceful to escape NYE fireworks with our nervous dog and this location was perfect - so peaceful! Rob was very friendly and helpful. The cottage was great - lovely and warm with a full kitchen, comfy bed and great shower. Thank you for a great stay!
Beautiful country property , quiet, lots of lovely walking paths nearby. Very, very clean inside and out. Sauna was wonderful for my wife! Rob had some excellent suggestions for places to visit nearby as well!
We’ve just returned from a very relaxing few days at Little Oaks, White House Farm. The property had everything that we expected and more. It was very clean and the surroundings are idyllic. Rob, the host, was very friendly but not at all intrusive.
We will definitely return and would highly recommend this little gem.
We had a fantastic time at Little Oaks! The house is set in the middle of the gorgeous countryside and has multiple walks and footpaths in and around the surrounding area. The garden was a great size and also fully fenced, which meant our dog could enjoy the outdoors safely. The house itself was comfortable and a great size for two adults. Basic supplies like tea/coffee and toilet paper were provided, although a few more of each would have been perfect as we did top these up ourselves during our stay. The only other minor point is that the duvet was quite stiff - maybe this was a winter duvet that hadn’t been changed out yet? Otherwise everything was great and we would happily stay here again. Thanks Rob!
Requires a curtain on rear door to garden, decking is very slippery and really should have a guard rail of some sort. Bath was very slippery when wet, we used a hand towel in the bath to stand on when showering, otherwise the cottage and facilities were good.
We enjoyed our time staying here. The cottage was clean and comfortable, the location was lovely and our son had a great time in the little playground. The host, Rob was very friendly and helpful.
We'd be more than happy to stay here again.
