Whippoorwill Retreat At Raystown Lake Just Down The Road From James Creek
10/10 Excellent
"A hidden gem! Everything was great! Very clean, even the outdoor areas and the screened in porch were well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some! Various small touches to help us feel especially welcomed were a nice surprise. This was the best VRBO we stayed at and are excited to return again in the future. Communication with the host was quick and convenient. A man showed up to work on a leak in the basement and with a quick call to Mark, we were able to verify he was expected and gave him the keys for the basement. We had everything we needed and could rest easy knowing the host was easy to contact if we needed to.Such a wonderful experience, Mark and Janet have definitely earned and exceeded “Premier Host” status!PS…The gate at the spiral stair case was helpful in keeping our small chiweenie dog from hurting himself. The whole family enjoyed the air hockey and pool tables, the fire pit, the trail out back and the selection of movies! Mom of the group certainly enjoyed the complementary wine as a little treat after making dinner for the crew!"
Spectacular riverfront treehouse in Beautiful Bedford County, PA,
10/10 Excellent
"Pictures and description were spot on. We loved the place and enjoyed sitting on the deck and hearing the river flow. Would note for other guests road access to get to the treehouse is a one lane gravel road."
Exquisite home overlooking Lake Raystown Resort and minutes to the water !
10/10 Excellent
"This home is beyond spectacular. The views of Lake Raystown are stunning. The layout is open and airy. All of the bedrooms are HUGE and spacious. Every detail of the decor is in theme with a lake home -- including furniture and furnishings. The basement space was also a huge surprise, with wide open areas for gathering/entertainment. Brande, the host, was so helpful and responsive. I cannot recommend this property enough!!!"
