Just happened upon this property when searching in and around Quebec City. (It was our first visit to Quebec.) This house is perfectly located in the “forest” without being too far to the center of the city and Old Quebec. It is an easy drive into the city that took right around 30 minutes. The house is beautiful. Clean!! Comfortable beds!! Great porch with chairs that face the sun in the morning for a cup of tea and then shade in the heat of the afternoon. The bathrooms are nice and modern with good water pressure. The kitchen is well appointed. The walk down to the river is easy with a well made path. The fire pit at the river is inviting. This is a great spot for any family looking for a clean and comfortable spot in Quebec City but would prefer to experience a more wooded environment. Down the road is a horse farm that allows rides. They also have rafting. Be sure to stop in Stoneham for groceries.
