I had a lovely stay at Herdwick Cottage and the owners were very welcoming & accommodating.
I had a lovely stay at Herdwick Cottage and the owners were very welcoming & accommodating. It was perfectly sized for myself and my dog, but would also suit a couple and their pet too. The property was clearly well looked after & clean, and the outdoor patio was a lovely way to spend an evening with beautiful views.

Lovely clean cottage.
Lovely clean cottage. Great location for walking. The only downside was the door lock was very difficult to open from the outside and there was no handwash in bathroom and only one toilet roll
Lovely stay at herdwick cottage. Everything you might need was provided - It is very compact and a little cold in the evening. The nearest pub - the Star is around 1.3 miles away (amazing food) Would be nice to be greeted on arrival Overall a welcome break.

Nice place and countryside but I really struggled with the bed as there is a large beam above the headboard which I kept banging my head on. No wardrobe or hanging for clothes and limited electrical sockets.
No extra blanket when we got cold at night. No extra toilet paper (just one roll) so we had to get a roll from our daughter in Ashbourne. No pole to shut the skylight in the ceiling.
