We were looking for a value for money place to stay while visiting and picking up our new puppy. The hotel was ideal. We could bring our present dog and he was welcomed. We were put in a ground floor front room to make life easier. The facilities were clean and comfortable. This is a budget hotel it does what it says on the tin. The toilet/bathroom facilities are what let it down. Very cramped not the best of locks. Cleanliness is present and encouraged with notices. A great communal kitchen is available. We used fridge and microwave. Large tv and kettle in room. Great for short stay.
We stayed out this accommodation 2 nights as we were in Stockton attending a gig. The host Mary was very welcoming. Very polite lady, and extremely helpful. We had a large room which was clean and comfortable. This accommodation is a large shared house and pretty basic. It suited our needs, so we left as happy customers. If your looking for the ritz this isn’t the place to be but worth the price and would stay there again.
Ideally situated for a 4 day work stay. Room clean and comfortable and kitchen facilities more than adequate making the booking excellent value for money
Staff are the strongest asset. They are very friendly and hard working. Accommodation is completed to a high standard, though occasionally, it is a little rough around the edges, but nothing major at all. The loo is a bit cramped - but the bedroom more than makes up for this. It is excellent value money. I recommend.
The Lady in charge (Mary) was extremely hospitable, very friendly, and indeed certainly went the extra mile to care for/look after those staying at the property. All in all 10/10.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Wonderful welcoming staff and the bedrooms were great, with everything you would need. The building itself could do with some work and there was always alot of washing up in the sink (which could have been other guests) because of this there weren’t any bowls so I wasn’t able to have breakfast. Rough around the edges but a good nights sleep.
Outram 26 offers clean, basic accommodation at a very low price. It is located in a quiet street and is ideal for a short stay if one has business to transact in Stockton. The owner offers a warm and friendly welcome.
Really friendly staff and very spacious clean rooms which makes it good value for money and some nice touches like tea and coffee in the room and toiletries in the bathroom were unexpected. Having a large table and no chair meant eating dinner sat on the edge of a low bed and there was no lamp so it was either pitch black or floodlit with bright ceiling spotlights. However, it’s well worth the money and I will be staying again.
Lovely lady let me check in early after working nights. Plenty of wardrobe space and drawers. Good kitchen facilities. Fast wifi. 5 min walk to Stockton town centre. Re-booked
If you’re looking for a convenient stay next to the town, this is less than half the price of a chain hotel but with the same great facilities, loads of personal little touches and the shared bathroom stocked with products.
Hosts were really friendly and helpful.
Absolutely shocking.
My cousin and I shared a room. Around midnight, a drunken man started knocking on the door in his boxers. Thankfully my cousins husband came outside to check and the guy walked away.
We were extremely afraid and one of the managers was not understanding at all. She spoke to me very rudely and was not able to handle the situation, I had to put the phone down as she was shouting.
We still have not received our refund.
Appeared to be 'work in progress' in relation to not being fully furnished or decorated. Bed very low down, virtually like a mattress on the floor. Very large table in the room but no suitable chair to sit on so very uncomfortable to watch TV without getting a crick in the neck! Room very cold. The toilet on the corridor was very cramped with the smallest sink I've ever seen and no hand drying facility e.g. towel or hand dryer. No breakfast available. However, the proprietor was friendly and helpful with directions
