There was no room for the reservation number so I was scammed by hotels.com because American inn said they don’t do business with hotels.com

I didn’t like it, when we first got there it was super hot the ac was not on and it was like 100 degrees. The shower was dirty and the room looked like they don’t clean it good. The restroom door was broken it didn’t close. I won’t go there again.

Needs more cleaning

Went back to the same hotel due to complications. I was given the same room. Room had some dirty parts but i let it go the first time but looks like they just clean the parts i got dirty and let the room just the same...

Disgusting!!

Disgusting, one of the worst places we ever stayed in ! Roaches in room , dirty, customer service from hell , rude , room key card locked us out every time , homeless transients outside of the place , unsafe - nothing good to say , sleep in your car you better off !!! This place should be closed down !!

First of all the lobby was closed we had to do business through a window like a teller. Then the first room the air conditioner didn’t work while it was 100° the second room the TV didn’t work but the air work it was dirty the sheets had cigarette holes several the bathroom towel rack was falling off a terrible odor in the bathroom noises outside the entire night. And someone knocked on our door at 11 PM it was just a bad experience after 50 years of going to hotels

Nightmare on Charter Way

This place is unexceptable and should not be an option on hotels.com and have the nerve to charge almost 100.00 a night! That is not fair and the pics they have on the site are no way near it's actual condition!! If I figure out how to upload these actual photos I will post them as well.

Cheap but not worth it.

Avoid this hotel, there are homeless people EVERYWHERE, the place is run down and dirty. This is know to locals as the place to get prostitutes. Do yourself a favor and avoid staying in Stockton all together.

Where to start! I showed up at the bullet proof glass window in the office to check in and their credit card machine wasn't working. The hotel wanted cash. I didn't happen to have $200+ on me. Thank goodness I chose to pay through Expedia. Nevertheless, the hotel still demanded $20 for a single, plastic, room key card, that only worked the first time I used it. Had to get another. The long list of hotel rules posted at the front door starts with No Prostitution and No Drugs. I was given no directions to my room and wandered around the complex trying to find it. Once found, I opened the door only to see the room hadn't been cleaned since the last guest. Back to the office for another room. There were pieces of clothing in the stairwell, and the stairwell smelled of urine. On my second day, there were different pieces of clothing in the stairwell. Getting undressed there seems to be a regular event. I stepped out of the shower (filthy shower curtain) to a graying, threadbare towel, only to find no hair dryer--and this only 40 minutes before I had to give a major presentation. One of the reasons I selected this hotel was because it had a refrigerator in the room. It didn't work! Throw in a sticky floor, a noisy heater, and a crummy neighborhood and you get the full picture. I'm no travel princess--I've stayed in 3rd rate places all around the world--but this was a new low for a U.S. hotel.

We were trying to check in at 6 pm Lobby was all locked up and a small window to check 3 parties in Outside were many people hanging around no wonder their lobby was locked up We felt very uncomfortable and did not stay there We called the phone number listed on their hotel information and it went to a private home I called the fax number listed on the same sheet and then the hotel answered I told them we did not want to stay there and they said they couldn't cancel our reservation and they told me to call Expedia to cancel I explained to Expedia about the situation and he called the hotel direct and when he returned to our conversation he said the manager would not be in until 8/23/18 I have been a customer for several years and have never felt threatened or unsafe in all my hotel stays I am going to fight our room charge even thought I didn't pay at the hotel as confirmed and we could not stay in an unsafe enviroment

The worst place I have ever stayed. Management rude. $20. 00 required for the key. Motel it's self is ok but carpet badly stained. The place was full, fight both sides of our room. Lots of permanent residence. NO breakfast as advertised ( full breakfast) I felt unsafe. Be wise read all reviews I didn't. Never stay in this area.

This was hands down the WORST hotel in the 25 yrs I have been renting hotel rooms. The rooms are absolutely filthy, customer service is horrid!

Nice updated rooms. But it does say it comes with breakfast and everything for breakfast is out in front office but I was informed they are under NEW MANAGMENT AND NO LONGER OFFER BREAKFAST OR FREE WIFI.

Weekend stay

The room was clean, the bed comfortable. No problem whatsoever with the room. The only problem I found was in the morning when I went to have breakfast and I asked for a glass of water the employee that was there told me he did not have water and the only excuse he gave me was that he was the new manager. Well for a new manager he is not managing the place well.
