For a short stay the Bothy Claymires is perfect for us and situated very nicely between Stirling and Loch Lomond. So lots of opportunities for exploring nature and city !

I absolutely loved my stay at the Bothy. I stayed on my own and felt safe and secure. The only thing missing really is a small oven which would increase the cooking options. Everything was spotlessly clean and well thought out. It’s a great base for travelling and then coming back for peace and tranquility. Totally private and very cosy with the log burner too.

I had such a lovely stay at The Bothy. On arrival it is obvious how much care goes into to the cottage to ensure your stay is as welcoming as possible. There was supply of tea, coffee and milk amongst other items. Also supplied was a great deal of information on the local area, details on eateries including cafes and pubs and menus for local takeaways. The cottage is in a perfect for one to two people want to explore the Scottish countryside and is also close to Stirling and other smaller towns who may wish to explore these please also. I couldn’t recommend this cottage enough, 10/10.

The property was immaculate. The host has thought of her guests every need. She is also always available w/o being intrusive. Lovely little cottage in the highlands!

Had everything you could need. Very well maintained. Helpful friendly owner. Only criticism getting up and down the ladder to bed difficult if you have any mobility issues and are over 65.

A fantastic little gem.

This is a little gem. Wasnt too sure about the mezzanine but it was absolutely fine. If you are afraid of heights or have mobility problems there is a sofa bed. Its small but has everything you need. The garden is lovely to sit out and enjoy a glass of wine. We didnt get to use the log burner as it was too warm. Just means we will have to go back when its cooler 😁

Great and relaxing bothy

Great and relaxing bothy, with secluded enough location - yet only 30m from the main road, and driving distance to sights in Stirling and Loch Lomond national park. The only thing we'd would have wanted, was perhaps a bit better mattress on the sleeping loft.

Perfect Cosy Getaway

A fantastic little property with a surprising amount of space! We stayed for 2 nights and the hosts provided everything we could possibly need plus extras! The property is very clean, modernly decorated and is extremely cosy. It's also located in a perfect area with easy access to the main local routes. We genuinely can't wait to book again, hopefully for longer!
