"The staff maintain a SPOTLESS room, the prices are the best on the island for comparable hotels, the Grill was being updated so we missed the food (excellent and reasonably priced)—that was the only minus of the trip. Oh! And the rooms have all been updated AND you still have access to all the amenities of the Westin across the street; beach, spa, restaurants). We’ve stayed at both the Westin and SS over the years—SS is now our hands-down preferred stay on the island. If this sounds effusive, it’s because on the (admittedly rare) ocasiona I leave a negative review, it has earned every word. The same when a place is fabulous. This one is."

"Our stay at Shades of Blue was amazing! The views were incredible. This is the first property we stayed at where the pool was heated to pleasant temperature.The house had plenty of amenities and was well taken care of. Louie was readily available if we needed anything for the house or if we were looking for recommendations on places to go.The house is close to many beaches, shopping, and restaurants.We would not hesitate to stay at Shades of Blue again!"
