"My wife and I really enjoyed the rustic atmosphere about the site, the closeness to the water and mountains, and the convenience of the pub nearby. This was our fifth visit to Egmont and the Backeddy Pub, and we have never been disappointed. The music festival this year was an added bonus."

"Our room was beautiful and decorated with old-timey stuff, kinda like you're staying in an Edwardian grandma's guest room. AC was strong, water was hot and good pressure, bed comfy, Apple TV on the big-screen tv. Complimentary breakfast was excellent, both in taste and presentation, the best we'd had on the sunshine coast."

"The hotel outside area is old as it looks like the property is going to be sold or renovated to upgrade the property. The hotel is older but room was large clean and had a wonderful view with a balcony. The Bistro restaurant attached to hotel was lovely and had an outdoor patio looking over the water. It’s only open Wednesday to Sunday so we lucked out! The staff at the front desk and restaurant were attentive and friendly. We would stay again."
