- Embark on your own "Walden Pond" adventure and be at one with nature amidst 44 private acres of serene woods with its own river running through it! You will really love it right now! Roads are always clear. Easy 20-minute drive to the Mayo Clinic. Each season brings its own magic: the fiery colors in fall, crunching through snow in the winter, new life in spring and sports and activities in the summer! The 2000 s.f. log home known as 'The Bungalow" offers a romantic fireplace, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, office/bedroom + huge entertainment room. The home is completely equipped with a full kitchen including a dishwasher. Hostess readily available. Enjoy complete privacy after a busy day, hang with friends or family, check on horseback riding at nearby Ironwoodsprings.com. Miles of marked hiking trails along the river. Check with host for special rates for 30 days or more.
