This is an exceptionally comfortable property. Enjoy laying out next to the pool on the large deck or stroll down to the lake for some scenic fun. No matter what time of year you come to visit us we offer many interesting things to do, from state park beaches, to renaissance festivals, the Fair Haven Golf Course, the nature center just minutes away. In the summer months we have wine tours and delectable restaurants, and recreational activities to please all. The Winery is only 1 mile away .

Looking for the home away from home? Look no further. From the comforts of sitting in the kitchen together eating to picnicking out on the deck, to strolling the scenic walkways that are all over central New York. The leaves changing is one of the most beautiful sights anyone can behold. Join us!!!!!

Beautiful

Beautiful house! Love the location. We came for memorial weekend and it was a bit chilly. We will be back for our honeymoon in July hoping to enjoy the nice pool.

Fair Haven

This Fair Haven stay was great!, the pool and lawn area was perfect for the kids, lovely fire pit area. Place was close to town and two beaches as well as Fair Haven State park, Renaissance Festival! Kitchen had awesome cookware! Had access to two bathrooms, plenty of sleeping area! beautiful view of little Sodus bay Owner was available and very friendly! Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. The property was clean, well-maintained, and the landscaping was beautiful. The pool and deck area were especially relaxing, with clean lounge chairs and towels provided. It was a peaceful setting and conveniently close to Fairhaven Beach, which we loved.The hosts were friendly and accommodating—they allowed us to book for just two nights, and even provided a beach chair when we forgot ours, which was above and beyond.One thing to note: the hosts live on the premises. While they were kind and respectful, I personally found it a bit uncomfortable and felt like I was intruding at times. That detail wasn’t listed in the description, and if I had known, I likely would have chosen a different place. That’s just a personal preference, but I think it’s something future guests should be aware of.Overall, it’s a beautiful spot with great amenities and thoughtful hosts—just be mindful of the setup if privacy is important to you.

Wedding Weekend

We had a wedding at the Colloca Estate winery. We coulnd't have found a better place to stay. Only minutes to the winery made the location perfect. The accomodations were spotless- it had everything we needed to cook dinner on site and have fire in the firepit. Vey fluffy towels! Great TV's. We all said we would stay here again.

Clean, Comfortable, Cute as a Button

My husband, college age, daughter, and I were looking for a place to just unwind, relax, and connect with each other after a very busy summer. George’s place helped us do all of the above, as well as provided a wonderful venue to invite family and friends to come spend the day with us. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out, a large, dining table, the pool and deck… It all fit our needs perfectly. It’s obvious that George has put a lot of love into this place. Comfortable is the perfect word for it. Not overly modern, but very well maintained. We felt at home and slept well the entire week!

Perfect house

We were in town for a family wedding and stayed with immediate family and cousins. We had other family over to visit and have dinner. The Layout of this house allowed for plenty of room for us to gather around the big table. The kitchen is supplied with everything you need to cook. Unfortunately, we did not have time for the pool area. The pool area has a very large deck that allows for both sun and shade and relaxation. Very nice house. The owner stop by to introduce himself. He only stayed a few minutes and was very pleasant.

Disappointed

When we arrived around 2:30, the house was 55.4 degrees. The refrigerator was not on and was full of mouse feces. The 2 silverware drawers were full of mouse feces as well. The shower also had wood shavings and mouse feces in it. I had to clean before we unpacked. I left the drawers and didn’t eat at the house. Thank goodness there was an electric fireplace and an electric heater, so the house finally warmed up after hours and hours. There were plenty of towels, soap, and toilet paper. The rest of the house was decent and clean. It was close to everything and very convenient. If we ever come back, we will probably find a different place to stay.

My husband called it “A little slice of heaven”

We had the most relaxing, comfortable time at this camp! It is beautifully landscaped and conscientiously maintained. The interior of the place is commodious and offered all the creature comforts: A/C, WiFi, flatscreens, front-loading washer/dryer, big walk-in shower, even a bidet! The exterior was the high point for our group; I think my husband would still be there at the fire pit if we let him. The pit was surrounded by beautiful iron benches so there was plenty of seating for everyone. Likewise, the spacious deck around the pool offered plenty of seating including covered patio, a 2-person swing, plenty of built-in benches, chairs, and loungers. The large yard was perfect for lawn games.George was a good owner in that he was around if needed, but completely unobtrusive. It is a quirky place (which was a plus for us) but it’s not your normal layout. The downstairs has one large open plan room that included a giant table perfect for game night, and a well-stocked kitchen. There are three small bedrooms off the main room. All were very well-stocked with linens and very clean, and as a bonus, they all had ceiling fans. You go up a very retro spiral staircase to the family room on the second level, which has plenty of comfy leather seating. The front patio has a modern gas grill and two spacious tables with umbrellas which were made good use of. A great space for entertaining overall!
