Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.
Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.
Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.
** In March 2020 when the resort shut down, we gave refunds for any unused nights and would do that again.

Awesome stay at the cascades. Everything was as pictured and as promised. Right near the ski bus stop so easy to get to the slopes and town. Would stay again.
This property worked well for 6 adults and four children- plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen was well stocked to cook for a large group. Easy access to mountain- all in all great for a family ski vacation.
Xmas 2024 was a hit. Starting with our place of stay. It was clean, present as shown in pictures and the property manager was quick with responses to our questions. Would definitely stay again

Great for Holidays
This house was perfect for our family. Loved the bunk bed room and lower level living area for the kids to play. The kitchen was well over equipped with everything needed to make a delicious Thanksgiving Dinner! The house was cozy and the hot-tub on the back deck was an added bonus. We will definitely book again in the future!
We loved our stay! We were in town for Run Rabbit and this place fit our needs perfectly! It was close to the start of the race and to downtown. All the spaces were roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and laid out for preparing meals. We feel fortunate that we chose this spot for our stay. Couldn’t have picked a more perfect place!

Great place for a ski group base
This is a nice condo and served our group of 10 guys well. While it is listed as sleeping 12, that's only true if you have two people in each of the 3 queen beds, which we did not, so a couple of guys slept on couches. The location is excellent, short walk to the ski slope on the road or the path (we found the road was a bit shorter). The private hot tub is primo. Good kitchen. 2-car garage was very handy. It appears to be well sound-insulated from the neighbors, since we made a fair amount of noise and nobody complained!

Fun Visit!
Overall we had a great stay at this property. We had ten adults and felt like the space accommodated us perfectly. The two living areas were nice to hang out in- foosball table was a fun perk! We all fit in the dining room for family dinner. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances. Location is very nice as well.
We did have a couple issues. Check in is 4pm and we weren’t able to actually get in the property until 4:30 because they were still cleaning when we arrived. The cleaning crew was nice and apologetic, but still a bit disappointing to not be able to get in and relax after a long drive. We also couldn’t figure out how to get the AC running. iTrip was responsive to these issues even with it being a holiday week so that was appreciated.
Overall we would consider staying here again in the future!
Easy going and accommodating to a slightly earlier check in time. Very responsive to texts and questions we had. Place was clean and tidy upon arrival. Would highly recommend this place!
Nice location and great size for our group. Easy walk to ski slope area. Close to free bus stop to down town. Nice to have the private hot tub too. Quiet community.
The home was great and the perfect amount of space for our family. The only downfall was the wifi did not work and they were not able to fix during our stay.
Very clean and comfortable space for a group of six friends. The property was clean and well appointed. The hot tub was a little bit dirty when we arrived but the management sent a guy out and cleaned it within the day. Overall, very responsive management and the place was great. The location is about a 10 minute walk to the gondola.
we had a great family celebration stay! it was super hot, but we were able to use the hot tub in the evenings. we had the perfect number of beds too. everything was fully equipped in the kitchen. we had fun with the foosball table as well. would come back again.
Itrip did a great job managing and communicating, they had maintenance techs over as soon as possible during a busy time between Christmas and new years.Location was great, Vacasa shuttle to the mountain every 15 minutes was fantastic, made for easy on and off the mountain for our group.House/condo is great, spacious, and big enough for our group yet not crowded. Hot tub was a welcome experience after a day snowboarding on the mountain.Regarding the place, I'd strongly encourage the owners to come back to their condo and stay there, this is a gorgeous place that needs some TLC.Kitchen, I'd say almost every door/hinge on all cabinets need to be tightened/adjusted, it sets the tone for the rest of the place.Sliding glass door in the master didn't open because shade was stuck, couldn't get it all the way open or closed. Headboard on the king bed was resting against the wall, not attached to the bed frame or mounted on the wall, banged everytime we moved in bed. Many little thing's that a fellow property owner would most definitely identity in my property's to make presentation better.Overall great place, would stay again, but for over 17K for a week details matter.ITrip again thanks for your prompt response and great communication!

A couple issues
Overall the house was fine. The smoke detectors would not stop beeping from the moment we walked in. There is a loud thumping sound that echoing throughout the house from the HVAC system. There was old food scattered all over the back patio. I would recommend looking elsewhere.
The space worked well for our family’s needs. The kitchen is well provided. Maintenance fell a bit below expectations— The living room could use a new coat of paint and the garage floor was quite dirty. When one pays this kind of rent, one expects these details to be looked after. The company’s representative who came to the house was excellent and solved a couple of minor problems, a cracked toilet seat for one. A good, utilitarian facility but not a great one.

Great space and easy access skiing.
Well designed unit with multiple spaces for young and old. We were two grandparents and our daughters and their families (four adults and five children aged 1 1/2 to 14). Each family unit had bedrooms on separate floors and the downstairs bedrooms were separate enough from the game room that noise was not an issue when younger children went to sleep.
The kitchen had plenty of dishes and gratefully an array of spices that we could use. The refrigerator was huge which was helpful with our larger group.
The shuttle came by frequently to pickup skiers and it was also an easy walk to the slopes. The unit’s hot tub was not available but there was a community one right across the street that was large and usually free of others.
For those interested in tennis, the tennis center was a three minute drive with lots of clinics and a friendly helpful staff.
We all had a great week!
Our stay here was terrible. Itrip knew the internet was not working prior to our arrival. They did nothing to solve the issue other than recommend we use our cell phone hot spots although we didn’t have strong enough signal to use them. We spent 3 nights without WiFi which obviously impeded our ability to work. The house was listed as having WiFi which was necessary for our group. Each and every smoke detector was beeping. They suggested we change the batteries which did not work so we left them in the garage until maintenance came the next day. After maintenance left the issue persisted. Itrip does not answer phones in the office, they text and do not respond to issues. They are unwillingly to offer any refund other than 75 for hot spot data which we couldn’t use due to weak signal. Post trip on the phone they have been rude and condescending. We would never stay in a property managed by them ever again. Worst customer service ever in a rental for us.
Perfect place to stay for our family in town for a wedding. The bedroom layout was perfect for our daughters who are now married. The bunk room was great for our single boys. Easy location for getting up the mountain for a wedding but also into town for some fun. Thanks for sharing with us.
