Trailhead Lodge 5107 is a top floor penthouse 1 Bedroom plus Den with amazing views of the Steamboat Ski Resort and Park Range mountains to the south.
This penthouse unit has extra high ceilings and great views of the ski area and park range to the south. The master bedroom is a good size and has direct access into the extra large bathroom. The den bedroom area is on the opposite side of the condo, providing a nice separation of space. The condo was professionally furnished, and the finishes are all top notch. The main room is open concept, so you can spend time together once you're home from your adventure filled days!

Perfect location for pickleball and Strings concerts
This was our second stay and it's the perfect location and condo for us. It has a well-equipped kitchen, quiet unit and lovely view of the ski mountain. We will be back.

Great location. Nice view. All the amenities we needed. Only minor issue was deck was really dirty.
The condo was very nice and very clean. Overall, we were comfortable and look forward to booking again. We also enjoyed the pool and outdoor balcony. The covered parking garage was a plus. Downtown was only 2.0 miles and our day trips to Steamboat Lake and Pearl Lake were scenic drives.
Excellent unit that is very close to gondola that takes you to base of mountain. Ski, pole storage and boot driers was a great extra. Nice view from balcony. A few of the issues we had were taken care of in a timely manner! Covered parking was nice. Nice hot shower and close to anything u might need. We will be rebooking for sure!
We were very pleased with the penthouse condo at Trailhead Lodge. The space was nice and very well appointed. We had a lovely view from the balcony. We were not there to ski but if you were the Gondola is super convenient. We had a very minor issue (tv clicker needed new batteries) that was addressed in a very short time. We would love to return
The condo was in a really good location, convenient to the Wildhorse Gondola. The property was clean and very comfortable. My only complaint was the property manager’s practice of mailing the keys. This isn’t 1980–there are modern, more convenient, more reliable ways to grant access to short term rentals. Other than that, I’d definitely stay there again.
My wife and I spent 4 nights in this property in September visiting Steamboat Springs and the surrounding area. The building was in main ski area of Steamboat, a very short drive to stores for all kinds of supplies and also a short drive to downtown Steamboat. The area was quiet. The unit was as described: clean, well provisioned, up to date, and with all the amenities needed to make one feel comfortable and fully at home for an extended stay. The hosts were always immediately responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking to stay in the general Steamboat Springs vicinity and who prefers home living rather than hotel living.
Steps to the wild horse gondola. Skiing couldn’t have been easier. Condo is great. We would gladly stay again. Pool and hot tubs are nice. Note that they are community use, not just for TrailsEnd Lodge. Doesn’t seem that way based on the location but they are. Must be really crowded on busy weeks. Only other oddity is getting the keys in the mail ahead of time. Feels weird in 2025, but it works. Just so used to key codes on rentals.
Great condo, well stocked. Excellent, comfortable pull out beds. Great location. Excellent amenities. They choose to snail mail your electronic key to your home address prior to coming, which caused some stress as it arrived the day we were flying. Then there are only 2 keys in the condo…for a family of 5 skiers, more keys would be helpful because you can’t move independently without your own key because you need the key to operate the elevator or enter the building…I asked for more keys and they said they would deliver but never did. Small annoyance, but we’ve stayed at other Trailheads and never had this problem.
The host was very accommodating since we booked late and had to pick up the key at the front desk upon arrival. Communications were clear.The accommodation was lovely, a completely stocked kitchen, toiletries, very clean and the bed was comfortable.There was a large deck looking up to the ski runs and it was very quiet during the week.
This condo was perfect for our visit to Steamboat. The gondola is so close - just steps out of the parking garage. The condo is very comfortable and in good condition. The kitchen is well equipped. I love the 12-cup drip coffee machine as I'm not a fan of the pod-machines. The bed is very comfortable and the condo was quiet - no noise from other condos or outside noise.
